Brit, I was in Nairobi in January and in March and was like where is Britt? I have to meet her and they were like many of the expats of 2021-22 had left. I was so sad so it's good to see that you're back (on youtube). You're glowing and look very beautiful in this video. Happy for you. But... one more thing sis....this remote job? Any connects/leads? Hook a brotha up PLEASE?!!!
FLEXJOBS.COM is the website that got me my remote job. It took me about six months of steady applying and a couple of interviews that led to be turning down positions because they were not 100% remote but it did work out in the end so I would say go that way. Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m really glad to see you in the comments and thank you for sticking with me and watching the journey. ❤️
Another Banger!👍🏽 I like this...Recommended to everyone in diaspora that are in love and wanna know about long distance relationships with someone based in Motherland Afrika.
Am happy for you Brittney and for him as well. Am always happy to see African Americans connecting with the Motherland (am in America) and/or with the culture thru marriage. But am a little bit confused cuz your first videos I watched sometime last year or 2021 was about you in Nigeria, Abuja, then Benin-Warri area (Edo & Delta states), and probably Lagos. And I thought I heard you say you were dating a Nigerian and considering marriage then. Months later, I saw your Kenyan videos where you were having good times in Kenya and no hint of your Nigerian guy. I thought maybe it didn't work out. And now this great news. Is it the same Nigerian guy your travelled around Nigeria with sometime ago? Congrats

Congratulations on your next step in life! It is interesting as an African American to see the questions and concerns about marrying a Nigerian vs a Kenyan. Being mixed together from different African regions during the slave trade in the West, many of us would see you marrying a black person/an African not knowing the differences. Interesting.
It is very interesting but honestly I can say being in the culture a little more has made me realize they’re really are differences between African-Americans and continental african’s but these are all things that we are working towards and people are different everywhere throughout Africa so it’s just a lot to digest and unpack!
@@BrittneyCaldwell ok. I can imagine there are adjustments to be made from all sides. And I am glad there is desire to work through it all with the purpose of uniting us. I really believe we are better together. Thanks for your reply.

This is the time to make those efforts to get those brands. Make hay while sun shines. It might be long, slow or even fast, but start now. So that you'll be somewhere far from this point in time a few years from now. Invest. Work hard. "I plan for my kids to be born on the continent.." We have plans, to make the continent great. Don't believe me just watch. Be a part of it. Some day, near future, it would be a breeze to travel to East, West, South and have a good time.
I totally agree and I’m ready to be here laying the groundwork and I am glad that you watched it that far into the video. I really appreciate the comment and I am definitely working on building brand ship. ❤️
I didn’t even really even blog it wasn’t really that big of a vibe to be honest I don’t like the north part of Africa 😂😂😂 I really need to chat about this
@@BrittneyCaldwell Yes you do.I don't need a blog, I said what you *saw*, or more accurately; *who* you saw (wink wink). You said you saw interesting things, and cleared your throat if I remember. You don't like the North, neither do I. Perhaps it's because I wish we still had it and lived there. Now they're sitting on what's not theirs and making money off of it. Sad. On US being cheaper, what do you mean "...more sales"?
My man wants to live in togo when we retire full-time. Not sure if i could the language is hard but i am also, trying to find the positives of possibly living there over the states. It would help if i knew the languages. If not, i will be in ghana with my sister in law if not and he will come visit. 🤣🤣🤣 I need some type of independence and in togo that is really not realistic for me. I have 5 year olds with me at least when i am there if i want to take a walk and none of the adults are available. 😂😂😂😂😂
I have a bonus baby but i am probably a unique person out of the majority and i wanted bonus children. 😂😂😂 i didn't want to birth any kids. So the lord only answered half of my prayer but its okay. 🤣🤣🤣 The great thing is i don't have to deal with my bonus baby's mom. We don't speak a common language so only my fiancé has to deal with that headache. We also live in seperate continents. My bonus baby is the sweetest and cutest boy in the world. I hope our youngest and our future other children have such a sweet spirit as he does. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m glad that you were such a positive and sweet stepmom! A lot of people don’t even know that my real dad is not my blood that he is my phone is dead and I love him so much so bled really means nothing so that means that you do have a child after all!

Congrats on your marriage! I look forward to your future content.
Congratulations Brittney, you'll always have a home in Kenya😂😂😂. Plus thanks for calling out Kenya for treating foreigners special in one of your videos, it's so true😂.
Noo why did u leave Nairobi? I honestly don’t think Nigeria is a better choice than Kenya but heyy maybe it will fit you better. Personally I like Nairobi way more, the culture and the people. Wishing you peace and happiness in Abuja ☺️❤
@Miss Ethio, what dumb question. She is married she is following her husband. Secondly, how do you know that Nairobi is better than Abuja? Have you lived in Abuja before? You are talking about culture, what culture? Nigeria culture is well know, and Nigeria are openly proud of their culture. If a Nigerian marry an African American woman, and want to move to American, you will talk negatively. A Nigerian met a woman married her, and he is taking home to Nigeria, you are still asking why? Why do you people hate Nigeria so much?
@@sunnyyande378 Lol hate? That’s a strong word dude 😂😂😂 And to ur answer yes I’ve been to Nigeria it’s a nice country but I choose Kenya, that’s my preference. The ppl in Kenya are very reserved, respectful and friendly. Not saying Nigerians aren’t but Swahili ppl are very unique ppl. Nairobi is called the heart of Africa for a reason. Yes about the property in ghana. I am set on being equal with my fiancé and he respects that although i don't contribute money. I am a sahm right now. I finally gave him a baby. 😂😂😂 I bring energy, time, and education. He will tell you the money he makes now he wouldn't have without my help. All of his friends are trying to get me to help them better themselves and get better income too because they know i am the goat. 😂😂😂😂😂
Just a psa to all the ladies make sure you are working on yourself too. My fiancé's aunt didn't do that and when her man finished school he left her for another lady. Yes. Super proud of him because he also put in a lot of work. I just helped guide him to the path he wanted to be in.
All these people asking Brittney questions about Nigeria, as though Nigeria is a dark place, what exactly do you know, have seen or or heard about Nigeria? No AA has ever been killed, kidnapped or scammed in Nigeria but there are volumes of stories of AAs being robbed, scammed, and fleeced in Ghana on a daily yet no one asks questions of anyone planning to move to Ghana or any other African country. Even diaspora Ghanaians are being scammed by fellow Ghanaians when they visit Ghana. Last week a Ghanaian that had lived in Germany for 40+years was crying at the Kotoka airport. He has been in court since 2008 after he was scammed of millions of Euros on a fake land purchase he made for a planned mountain resort business. This was even after flying in a team of German and French engineers to carry out feasibility work on the land for the Resort. That my friend cannot happen in Nigeria. Brittney's story about her experience in Ghana is very common among all the AA women who travel to or move to Ghana. If you don't know, AAs have been moving to Nigeria and marrying Nigerians since Nigeria's independence. Charly Boy has been married to his AA wife for more than 40 years and she has lived in Nigeria all these years. I first got to know about AAs as a 6YO when my uncle came back home to our town with an AA woman as his wife. She has lived in the town all these years, runs a chain of hospitality businesses and have kids in their 30s now. We don't advertise. Stop all these hate and propaganda against Nigeria. Naija nor dey carry last. In the Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Naija represent. If you come to Nigeria or meet Nigerians with good intentions, you'll enjoy your time in Nigeria or with the Nigerians. But if you want to play games, to scam Nigerians, it's your bank accounts that will go dry. Nigerians scam whoever wants to scam them. If you're an old European woman looking for a young African hunk to waste his life, Nigerians will help you waste your money. If you're one of these Caucasians, Asians, Arabs that think Africans are stupid and that you can easily scam them and their government, Nigerians will help you drain your bank account and that of anyone around you. We match energy with energy. This generation is not the generation of our ancestors that were overrun, their brothers and sisters captured and taken into slavery and these people still came back to plunder the land and subjugate the people. NO. Nigeria is the heartbeat of Africa, and is building the first black superpower. We don't advertise; even if you're in a cave, you'll see and hear us, from entertainment to technology, to manufacturing, we lead Africa. Nigeria is the only African country where native Africans, Nigerians, run their economy. Other races of people are beginning to respect Nigeria and even want to be Nigerians. Last year alone, more than 300 people, a mix of Caucasian Americans, Arabs, Indians, Chinese took oath of citizenship in Abuja to become Nigerian citizens. If you're not good enof for Nigerian men to check you, that's no reason to talk bad about Nigeria. We are different and have high taste for women and life in general. Ask Porsha Williams about Nigeria wedding or check UA-cam for wedding ceremonies between Nigeria men and women of Nigeria, Africa, AAs, other races. Nigerian wedding is more fun than British royal coronation or marriage ceremony. We have class ok. Stop bad-mouthing Nigeria.
A giant African economy run by Africans, that's Nigeria for you. Here in Kenya, we still worship mzungu (oyinbo) people, we are yet to rise from their colonial hold (neo colonialism). I hope and pray that we shall rise like our big brother Nigeria and that I'll live long enough to see this...✌🏾✌🏾
Before my Kenyan people come for me...let me quickly add, we are making effort, but Nigerians are way ahead of us in terms of driving their own economy
@@thesoftside001 Brother/Sister, I feel you and I am as much pained as you are. Africa still has many probs when we should be in a hurry to develop the continent. But we cannot develop Africa with Mzungus (Europeans, Asians or Arabs) even if they have our passports. One, there loyalties are not with Africa and two, we indigenous Africans (continental and diaspora) have to develop Africa so we don't have them claiming the credit and adding to the narrative that we cannot organize and build together.. So while there are many things wrong with Nigeria, one of the great thing about Nigeria is that it's leading an indigenous African civilization. All government workers, from the president to the least, say the attendant at the museum, are all Nigerians of black origin. All the major industries and businesses in Nigeria are owned and operated by Nigerians. And I wish other African countries can emulate this, while Nigeria itself also emulate the good things in sister African countries. You've seen the Gold Mafia documentary by Al Jazeera, read about the Guptas of South Africa and other such stories in other parts of Africa? Such people cannot operate in Nigeria, it's our own that steal from us, not the mzungus. Do you see that it's just a media documentary and exposé for these heinous activities that rob nations of their GDP in $$$Billions. But when a Hushpuppy tastes the waters in their land, when their grandmothers who should stick to their grandfathers but choose to thirst after young Nigerian guys and the Nigerian guys see opportunities, when they come with their briefcases looking for gullible Nigerians to defraud or to use and defraud the government but end of getting the taste of their medicine, then all of a sudden FBI, MI6, Mossad, and their Courts all go to work and their media would start painting all Nigerians are bad. Did the Gold Mafia reportage say anything about the races of these criminals? They are all of India origins and a few Europeans. Who are the call-center and computer fraudsters in the world? Indians. It's big business there. But in all these, do they ever tag anything Indian mafia, Indian gang? No. But once an African engages in anything bad anywhere, they tag it a Nigerian gang or have sellouts amongst us, our own, lead the chorus in giving Nigeria, Nigerians, Africans in general bad names. Same way they portrayed AAs as the worst; criminals, gangsters, lazy and bloodthirsty without conscience just to cover the injustices they force on them. The Western govs themselves are the biggest gangsters and mafia in other countries, since slavery, colonization till date. Any country that doesn't give them what they want, they invade with their armies, overthrow with their secret services and economic hitmen or destabilize economically with sanctions.
Am jealous Kenyan gentle man.... Someone from another country stole our most beautiful lady.... I dont want to threaten anyone but i missed you alot.... I'm here with my everything at the kenyan airport waiting for you.....

Congrats
Nooooo I went to Nigeria and haven’t returned to Kenya since. You might be watching out of order! 😉😉😉😉😳 same guy!

Personally, I’m right there with you and just working to convince My Husband to transfer the vibe but we have some goals to accomplish first!
That’s a strong word dude 😂😂😂
And to ur answer yes I’ve been to Nigeria it’s a nice country but I choose Kenya, that’s my preference. The ppl in Kenya are very reserved, respectful and friendly. You better have that AA restaurant in Kenya
😂😂😂😂 take it easy on me!
Hiii....where you been???
I have been in the cut getting my life together!
Oooooo I am loving this energy FRFR 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 agreed!!
❤❤❤
