Great review guys. We had one of the first off the production line over 2 years ago. We had never seen a production van with this layout before, and as we are avid mountain bikers, it was a no brainer. We also opted for alloys, window blinds, apple car play radio, plus the pull out canopy and one slide out bike rack which is amazing. We love the van and even fitted an extra leisure battery as 12v fridge does use quite a lot when off grid. One poor point with ours is the plywood floor in garage has delaminated, poor quality. It’s having this done under warranty in a few weeks. Keep up the good work 😊
@@stephenbattenbough8790 thank you for the comment, we struggle with the standard leisure battery as well, as we have run out of power a few times when we have been off grid, but it’s something we are looking in to.. But all in all they certainly are great vans, safe travels in your 68, Tash & Trace.
@TheOver50JobSeeker Thank you for the feedback. We are enjoying the versatility of the '68. At the moment the garage is packed for paddle boarding and a 3 month trip in Europe. When we next head off we will add bikes and kites! Tracey and Tash
For the staining try vanish that you use in your laundry. Sounds daft, but we had a plastic sink in our caravan that the previous owners had stained with something. My wife and I tried every concoction known to wo-man 😊!!! I simply made up a paste with the vanish and water, I covered the stained area with the paste of vanish and water and hey presto, the stain had gone. We had a more stubborn stain in the shower tray which took one or two more applications. But it did work!
A brilliant review. Thank you both. I can quite see why you were/are drawn to it. Fabulous. And that boot is amazing... what an incredible selling point. You were both so spontaneous with your thoughts. Congratulations on picking such a handsome boy. Good on ya!! Here's to many years of enjoyment with Beano. He suits your requirements perfectly. Does he actually make the tea/coffee for you too? Go and enjoy Life! With much love, Pam xx
Thanks Pam, pleased you enjoyed the review, BEANO is a rather splendid looking 🚐 He doesn’t quite make the brews yet, but then Trace would be out of a job 🤣😉 Thank you for watching Pam, take care of yourself, Tash & Tracey x
Great review, we just ordered one it’s going be delivered later this year, from October to December , we to bought it for the rear space for our mountain bikes
Thank you! Welcome to the ‘68 adventure. We love our Van and are always finding new ways to have adventures. The garage is so versatile and allows us to take all our kit along with us. Good luck wishing you a quick delivery. Tracey and Tash
Thanks for a great video. I’ve been watching from the start and find you both so entertaining to watch. I have also ordered this van because of the garage, we ordered last April so hopefully it will be here in 2024. What would you say are your niggles with the van? Is there anything you would upgrade?
Thank you for watching our videos 😊 🤞🏻for the arrival of your new 🚐 soon you will certainly enjoy it. We don’t really have any niggles with the van, apart from the USB port in the saloon area is a pain to plug your cable in due to its location above the head rest of the back seat. We probably should have ordered an electric step at build, but that’s something we can change in the future. Apart from that, we love everything so far 😊 Tash & Tracey
@@tntadventures6697 Nice feature, we've got a globescout and been thinking of something similar, have to see if there's an aftermarket one, many thanks 👍
Hi Andy, I adapted the back of the cover by cutting a big square into the back, If you go to 3 mins in of the video link below 👇 it shows how I did it, hope that helps, Tash
Hi guys, love watching your videos and would like to visit the channel islands too👍. Im currently waiting for my 68 to be deiiverd. One question, how long does your 6kg gas last?
We are on our second bottle of 6kg, but our first one was only half full, so it’s lasting pretty well. Congratulations on the purchase of your 68, we hope your wait isn’t too long. Thank you for watching our videos, Tash & Tracey.
Good video on the 68 !! Q. Can you advise which collapsible hose (the yellow one in the garage) you use & where you got it from pls? Is it a food safe type or just a standard garden hose? Also, the other week you had trouble with your Leisure battery.. was it due to the switch (in the overhead locker) being accidentally turned off or something else? Finally, on the wardrobe/cupboard on the right hand side (as you look aft towards the bed area) it looked like there was some sort fitting (may be la ight ) in place ....(think it was white).. Are you able to say what it is?
Hi the hose is made by Hozelock, and it’s a standard garden hose so not food safe. The leisure battery issue’s we have had haven’t been with the switch, we think we either need a bigger amp or 2 battery’s to run concurrent for the way we have used the van in the winter, (we have never had a problem with it in the summer months) And the fitting on the wardrobe is a battery powered portable light that sticks on with a command strip, hope this helps 😊 Tash & Tracey
Hi Great video, watched a couple of times, like the look of them seat covers too. We are on the verge of ordering the van, is there anything you could suggest as getting fitted (apart from the electric step) now you have had the van for a while? We already have a few things like second battery, reversing cam, alarm, tracker, blinds and bike trays on the list. We thought about a side awning but dealer said a lot of people get them and wish they hadn't! I know we would wait till after getting the van and decide on an awning. Also how do you find driving the van, both of us are experienced car drivers but have very limited experience driving a van.
Hi, If we knew then what we know now we would definitely have ordered the electric step & reversing camera, so you’re spot on with that. It’s a really easy van to drive, the higher driver position is great, the biggest challenge is remembering the length! Especially when going round corners 😉 When you get your van, we hope you both enjoy it as much as we do. Tash & Tracey
@@tntadventures6697 We have a Elddis CV 40 and its very similar to your van in many ways, we converted it some into a fixed bed, but without your huge garage (envious) :)

My 68 came with a high level shower head holder in the bathroom
That’s good to know, we will have to chase it up with the dealer.
we have found similar to our Elddis .. some people reporting things missing or different to others.
is there an external gas pipe for a bbq or do you have to access the internal bottle?
@@AdeBarwickCaterham The Exp 68 don’t come with an external gas point for BBQ’s, we use the Cadac to bbq with the small camping gas cylinders.
You say the fridge is constantly on! You know it can be turned off when your not using the van?
Yes, we meant that it can stayed powered on with the solar, and that it doesn’t run of the gas supply.

How do you afford a van like that when you say pacifically rather than specifically, fml.
