Also, I can't remember, I think it was saxophone that he played for Coach Prime's birthday last year. Respect to the kitchen staff, it is long hours on your feet, much of that can be over a hot grill.
Off course it's a program most likely all programs eat better then majority or most likely all households there investing in their assets that's why athletes and pro players look total different from the average person. I wish I was there.

this 64yr old grandpappie has been a everyday fan since coach first toured the facility some 18mons ago and this (by far) is the best behind the scenes expose about the cafeteria, chef and the incredible meals that are being served on a day-to-day basis. superb job!
the food budget is crazy but great investment--- health is wealth, and especially great for meeting the demand of athletes/coaches.....high nutritional value, variety of food is something to look froward to and helps body recover.
Chef Solomon needs to start his own UA-cam. Have a camera guy follow him around doing prep and interacting with the rest of his team. I know I would watch everyday. Put some extra money in his pockets bc I know his channel would blow up. He would have a jump start with buff fans. Can you imagine all the culinary fans and the people who just love food! I seen Colorado sports team cafeteria when coach Prime first arrived. The food didn't look too good, or appetizing. The food was not this elaborate and excellent. After about 3 months or so, Chef Carl transformed and revamped that entire cafeteria. The food began to look like 5 star quality food. Also Chef Carl started cooking more soul food meals, and other ethnic foods. Chef Carl was hooking them up and knocking them down in that cafeteria. Colorado Buffs sports department cafeteria isthe absolute best 5 star ⭐ restaurant. I love Chef Carl ❤️❤️
Chef's meals are wonderful! Has he ever done a southern/soul menu? I'd love to see some blackeyed peas, collard/turnip greens, candied sweet potatoes/yams, baked ham, fried catfish, sweet potato pie, red velvet cake, peach cobbler and sweet tea on the line. 🙂🙂
I think he combines those foods along with other combinations of foods. On one of those days in this video, he mentioned that we have a player population from .... and they like....so it's on the line . I love the Chef, he is so genuinely kind and so professional, and it shows... he loves his profession and is a CU Buff!!!!!

I played D1 college football and NEVER had lobster, oxtail damn crab legs! We won a bowl game every year I was there. I don't remember none of that lmfao
I enjoy seeing not just the progress day to day with the athletes but seeing other behind the scenes boogie ,chef & other staff members I really enjoyed watching this video seeing the passion day in and day out keep theses type of videos coming! Would like to see them each week if possible I don’t have a football team but since prime came to CU I follow everything yall have going on it’s refreshing to see.. GO BUFFS!
Great idea. But I'm sure those guys would rather go out and enjoy the game. Cooking throughout the week is fine. But Game Day is just too exciting on college campuses.

Yesterday was the very first time I had a problem with the CU media relations folks. They should have let Jordan go some more and more with the questions. Jordan stood there like an adult. Made everyone wait on Jordan and answered everything with focus. The NFL media folks are going to be more underneath Jordan and that should have been more experience on that. Coach Prime knows when Coach Prime is rolling with the media, team members better not stop Coach Prime. That's always one thing I haven't understood with the media relations department. How you going to regulate my time for putting out words? Never understood that. THANK GOODNESS for Coach Prime!!!!!!
