MEET the incredible dogs trained to military standards. Tyler Falconer, 27, of Boston, set up Falco K9 four years ago after serving in the navy. Falco K9 train dogs in obedience, police work as well as personal protection and Tyler uses his experience in the military to all aspects of the dogs’ training from puppies to deployment on the street. Tyler owns Nala, a four-year-old Belgian Malinois who is also trained in protection. He said she is one of the best dogs he has ever trained or owned. Tyler is a trained decoy and loves to suit up at any given opportunity to practice scenario training including car jackings and muggings. Tyler told Barcroft Studios: “We train so there's not any failed deployments out there on the street, whether it be a personal protection dog and/or police dog."

This breed is seeing a rise in popularity, but please realize this is NOT a dog for first time owners or people who aren’t willing to put in a lot of work. I had one years ago and would love to have another. But, I’m 70, and I know my limitations. You were the best boy, Ben.
Rest in peace Ben ❤
I am a 64 year old disabled vet and I know that I'm not in good enough shape to be fair to the dog but I have a outstanding German Shepherd dog service dog !
@@paulsherman8697 how has that been? Glad you still have a pup around despite your limitations, but I’m curious how it has been with the German Shepherd as they are also big and strong and active as well, no?
That lil white puppy in the carrier at the beginning 😍 their eyes 🥺
Anyone with eyes can instantly see the level of intensity and personal responsibility you take with the dogs and I'm sure also with the owners it's great to see someone take pride in what they do keep up the wonderful work I'm sure you'll be a huge success in all your endeavors
Thank you for your service. My cousin Ruth was carjacked, you are helping people stay and feel safe and deserve the success you have in this life because of your service to others. God Bless you and those you train and protect.
These dogs are insane. They will do anything. Love them!!!
Nala Speed and Grip Is Incredibly Amazing And the power of Thanos Jaw Is Incredibly Shocking 👏🏻
Used to have one. Came from a long line of K9 units and she was one hell of a soldier.
I really appreciate the fact that this man is mature, patient and treats the dogs with care and respect. He obviously knows what he is doing and I am happy for him that he is able to do what he loves.
Thank you for your service and for continuing to service with the work you do. The dogs are beautiful.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT THANK YOU BEASTLY FOR DOCUMENTING THE BELGIAN MALINOIS
The dedication to perfection springing from military experience is so apparent. I would absolutely consider traveling to this location for training!
I need a dog like this, it will calm my mind from my paranoia and anxiety from going outside to walk or jog
You can feel the passion you have for your work
Falcon K9. Fantastic old school training. Great work!
Your definitely one I would choose to buy a Belgian from. Your passion speaks volumes when it comes to my decision. Thanks for your service. 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
I've seen a lot of 'thanks for your service' is it an American thing to say to army vets? just curious
A well trained dog is fearless and are always ready to go.Love these dog’s.😍
Thank you for your service
Love to you and yours. Thank you for your service. Wishing you all success in all endeavors.
what service?
🔥🔥🔥 thank you for your service!
Impressive. MOST dogs AREN'T TRAINED TO TAKE ON THE MAN WHO IS NOT AFRAID OF THEM.. It has to be taught. I've run tough dogs off the field .. THIS GUY'S GOOD.
Love the work you're doing brother. Getting my first Belgian at the start of the next year. Really excited for all the training.
How did it go?
Good on ya. Great work w those dogs. Thx for your sevice sir.
So young and so much knowledge in dogtraining
Dude, that’s sick. Your dog is so aware, that it pays attention to your leg. Wow. Nice.
Nice work! Enjoyed.
Former GSD person here, probably have a pup mally in spring. Have worked with dogs & one male 10 months Belgium. Defiantly a step up from GSD but feel I'm ready.
Now this is a real dog, not a "pocket bully" or something like that. Malinois and german shepherds are my favorite dogs besides goldens (which I like for their temperaments).

"Favorite" is spelled correctly. Try the dictionary.
@@CutieKoryn go to school kid u don’t even know how to spell it
What’s wrong with a pocket bully? Different breeds different dogs different temperaments. I don’t want a dog that I need to train and keep this level of active just to enjoy.
That's EXACTLY why I have a German Shepherd. I wanted a Real dog.
Great Stuff
Love it.
Drax loves his Belgian Malinois brothers! hello from the UK! :D
What a GREAT job you have! I'm jealous.
Just subscribed!!!. Love your video's.
Thank you for your service! I wish you were closer to train my Malinois, I am in Florida😢
I thank you for your service also, as well as your love for dogs.....
I'm not a dog person but I do enjoy seeing them be useful as tools. That thanos is a badass.
My dream dog, when my bank account can handle it😂
Please only get one if your gonna do a sport with it. They need a outlet for energy and first-time dog owners shouldn’t get one they are very extreme
L Style they never get tired I have one it will literally drag me along for miles
Sk So
Some first time owners who own Malinois and have been successful 🤷♀️
Really depends on how much re search u have done and no their needs
@@Anna-nr3up keyword: some. They aren't good for first time owners because they need TONS of mental stimulation and they have never ending energy.
Please do not get one if you won't care for it. They need lots of exercise and are aggressive. Don't just get a dog because its "cool."
Beautiful 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Awesome!
Beautiful, this is my dream 💕
Heard you say you never met a dog you couldn't train... Then you have never met my semi wild dog, trust me, she's born to be free and cannot be trained. But she will give her life for me and my other animals in a heartbeat.
But omg wauw, love love love malinois and the way you work together with them is awesome!!!
AWESOME Video
AWESOME DOGS
God Bless you
Keep up the great work
He can't do it anymore thankfully. Falco K9 is permanently shut down and he has been charged with 3 felonies for animal abuse.
thanks for sharing...
This is awesome. I would bring my dogs to you but I'm in PA. My dogs are well trained by me. My Pitt is still a pup and she knows so much.
What you do is terrific. Hope one day I could do this with my future puppy. I have a 10 year old Shepard and she's the best.
I would like information on the dogs you have. I'm going for a Cane Corso. I've had big dogs "bully".
Fantastic
I have one of these, but he's not trained like this. He's a huge sweetheart
Awesome guys
Scary impressive
I own one and it just makes youfeel safe and they are very loving dogs Jackie KUDOS to the breed
Дякую за відео!!!Ці пси прекрасні!!
I both have Malinois and German. I'm trying to train Malinois. I only owned her about 3 years now saved her from streets. German Lil over year. Got him when he was Lil over 4 months old. He's more stubborn In learning. Right now I'm trying to do basic training steps first. Sit, lay, and stay. Due to I'm not an law enforcement or not in military. I want to teach her for self defense only. When I found her she was skinny needed emergency medical attention. She came closed of losing her life. So I thank you for what you do. I myself still learning.
I'm originally from your neck of the woods now out here in Cali. I love the comment of "never having a dog you couldn't train, but an owner you couldn't" I live in an area where there are so many tree huggers they don't understand compliance and its benefits. God bless and great video....also "GO REDSOX''......
Owners will muck it up every time treating them like children or sometimes not having the spine to be in charge. I want to get one trained for my son. But mine is 14 and he's trying to get ready to go on to his next spot. Don't know what to do with that little bit.
Nice work.
My next k9 for sure
Next Level "Man's best friend"
We had one of these in Aix En Provence his name was FALCO. What a great dog.
Beautiful and Amazing dogs! I want one so bad, it hurts! I would have to train it to travel with me in my semi and give it the exercise they need
I don’t know if I’d be capable to have a protection dog, if I was in danger my dog would be the first thing to come to mind to save lmao
Ben interesting to incorporate rescue in their training as well
man, ure so great
I luv my Belgian Malinois his really smart
Oh wow that dog is amazing I have a malnious called Luna she is a amazing at jumping and loves swimming
Good dog 🐕

Smart dog.good boy or girl👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad these guy are doing it right. There are many dogs that shouldn't be on the street. Good job
Lmao imagine having one? (While I’m cuddling with mine right now)

Man, I want one
Crazeeeeeee
I have a 2 yr old male Belgian Malinois that I would love to get trained like this.
NALA!!!!!
Would be interested finding out more information and how much for your training?
I didn’t see the quick release command used, release and step back or the release and return. I use more signals and very few commands. Great training school. US Army
Jacob is the best looking trainer hands down.
nice
So dudes name came from one who trains falcons, to training dogs...
Ancestral memory is real :)

OMG SOUTHIE~!
I have a 10 week old Malinois. Oh my goodness the biting is crazy. It’s a lot of work training this breed but they are so smart, protective, and beautiful.
I have a belgian malinois it have a cross breed labrador she isbso cute when cross breed!!!!!!!😍😍😍
Dudes dog is crazy smart
Thanos! Love it :P
Go Malinois xx
Belgian malinois are the best.
Must admit my dog reacts more to my hand commands then verbal..lol
The long sit is my challenge..
Mine will sit and wait forever, if I've got the ball in my hand and he thinks I going to throw it!🤣 Beautiful animals ❤ when the handler is trained properly!
Thank you for your service!
Make a video of Doberman dog sir. I would love to see that video, please,😌😥😍🙏😁
How good they are in extreme cold weather?
Watch this and look over to my Labrador that only sits if i had food in my hand haha
I watch this as I sit with my friendly terrier lmao
Impressive!!!!😰
My friend and German and Belgium Shepard mix he is so cute his name is mike
ID LIKED TO BUY ONE OF THOSE DOGS
I would love to have a dog like that
You would need to be prepared about all the harsh realities with a dog like that. If you have a job that lasts lots of hours then it isn’t the dog for you
Victor K I want to be a K9 officer...
Can you teach my dog too it is a mix beligan or make more video 's for bite training
😍😍😍😍
You know what's strange? The dog I got from the Humane Society, because I didn't want to go to a Puppy Mill , this dog, part shepherd , part chihuahua chose me. He had fits at a Military Man that came to look at him same time I did...he came right to me. I got him....he attempted to bite the neighbor I had because he raised his hands to give me directions..this dog is a protector and he acts like these dogs! He just needs socialization training. He really go's after Pit Bulls...I've had too many rub inside with that, this dog is fearless!! And he is not as big as a shepherd or Malingua. But he's afraid of nothing
Do you think if i get a working line belgian mallios and sociliase it it wil protect me or is protection training a must
Protection training!!!!! They definitely need to be trained. You don't want him to be wrongly "trained" on how to protect you. I've seen some dogs that people who weren't educated on training who "trained" their dog for protection. He ended up having to be surrendered to a shelter and put down because he took all strangers as a threat and became too protective over the owner. Couldn't even take him to the vet without putting people's safety at risk
What kind of vest is nala wearing
Yall should document the kangal
Kangal amazng dog but not to smart for protection like belgian, german sheperd, doberman, dogo argentino, rott
This is seriously amazing to me! I might travel to this guy someday if I get a new dog who's eager to learn. now my lovely girl is way to old for this now. She'd probably start napping after the first exercise! I always wander though. why do you train the dog to go for the arm like that. its always an arm that is held in front of the person for the dog to grab. is that the most used reaction by people who are attacked by a dog? and how does going for the arm like that help vs a person using a knife, the dogs flank is pretty open like that. (sincere questions from an uneducated wanting to learn)
Ik it's been a year but I'm tempted to reply to ur comment lol, sorry don't mind me.
Anyway, pretty sure it's cuz going for the arm is the best and safest way to incapacitate your, uh, attacker for example. If they're holding a knife you'd not want your dog go for their legs instead cuz pretty sure that knife the attacker is holding will go straight to your dog out of self defense. If your dog goes for other parts of the body, it'll likely either end up killing the person/cause fatal injuries or like with the legs, they're gonna attack your dog out of self defense
Can't go to him anymore... thankfully. He has been charged with 3 felonies for animal abuse and Falco K9 has been permanently closed. Unless you dislike your dog for some reason?
@@ocpimport7935 oh damn, that's news
Do you teach switch biting?
