I live in Germany and my father has one of those with 4 tools. He really beat it up, so I oiled it and sharpened the blades for him. Now it will probably last another life time. I'm not the biggest fan of the bone handles, but the knife has the best saw blade I've ever seen (much better than the swiss knifes...)

Hello TNtogo. I have been a fan of German made PUMA knives in excess of thirty years. They have the best steel. Yes those horn handles can cause problems but I have never experienced that. THANKS for commenting > 🙂

Nice looking pocket knife James. The inside of the liners and the backlock looked polished too in a couple of glimpses I got of the internals. I would be interested to see the slip when you get it. Quality usually has a price tag to go with it. All the Best.

Hello Andrew...!! Yes it is a very clean knife. Sorry that I did not hold the knife in place long enough. THANKS for the comments > 🙂

@@JamesBoren No problem James. In the world of traditional’s I think having the liners finely finished and polished was something reserved for the very best or top of the range knives.
      Thanks for the reply.
      Andrew.

Hey Jim, I hope you're doing well. I haven't gotten on your channel in a little while or commented since me and my wife has been working so much. Great review and beautiful knife. You can tell how great of quality it is just by looking at it. Nice editing too👍

Hey Jim. Looks like a real nice knife you have there. I always seem to lose my pocket knife. The last one I had ended up as a donation at the airport security screening. I was bummed about that. Anyway, best wishes with your channel. It's very difficult to keep people's attention for very long at all, they just don't have much patience.

Hello there Scout..!! Well I hardly ever fly so I guess I don't worry about Airport Security. However I certainly do understand about this situation. That would really suck for sure..!! > 🙂

The stag scales are made of ‘european red stag’ antler… the little plaque on one side of the scales is engrave your initials on to… Puma makes nice knives, If you like Puma, you should also check Hubertus Messer (knives) They make similar, if not better knives than Puma…
All the best from the Netherlands 👍🏻👋🏻

Hello there Mr. Well I sure appreciate the review and for the comments. I shall look into this. I have been collecting Puma knives for about 20 years now > 🙂

@@JamesBoren Like to see your knife reviews! The old Puma knives had scales made out of Sika stag antler… but somehow that is not allowed anymore, so they now use red stag antler… or as we say ‘edelhert’ or in German ‘Rothirch’
We see Puma knives being used alot for hunting around here… they have something classic. I have a few Puma’s from around 1970… and still use them… Enjoy your beautiful knives!

@@Waidman Hello there Mr. Yes I sure do appreciate my PUMA knives. I have 8 or 9 of them .... all German handmade pieces. And yes, I understand about those horn handles. THANKS for watching and commenting > 🙂
