Also you should not use Bible verses out of context. 2 Peter 3:8 states, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day". This is not literal so God did not just create the earth six days ago. The verse is about God's time is not our time and that He has always been. (The first seven days in Genesis were literally 7 days as we know it.) God is patient with us and as you should be with fellow believers. Shalom.

I read a comment from a guy from another country who said “Even the pope says we don’t need Jesus to go to heaven, so why should we listen to people that say we do?” That hit me hard because I realized how many people this Pope is driving AWAY from the gospel of Jesus Christ and towards humanism instead. That man was only one of millions who listen to the pope even when they’re not “religious” people and they put more credence to what the pope says than to what the Bible says. He’s giving them a FALSE security. The Catholic Church in general is not saying enough, with exceptions here and there, but if they really cared about what’s going on, they’d have kicked that anti-Christ pope out by now. That PROVES they put their trust in a man, even when he speaks falsehoods, rather than what the Bible says. They are more offended by us speaking against the Pope, than they are with the Pope speaking against the WORD of GOD..

They are always false teachers, blatantly violating scripture by teaching a salvation based on works instead of grace alone, worshiping and praying to dead people (Mary, "saints"), elevating their opinions above God's Word, and so much more. Not to say there are no genuinely-saved/born again Christians in Catholicism, but when you ask most Catholics if they're going to Heaven, they say... "I hope so." That's not Biblical. Those who are saved _know they are saved._ Born again is very real and not trivial.

While on the Tour which includes the burial sites of many Popes the Tour Guide asked the audience that they pray for Pope such and such that they would be taken out of purgatory...there apparently for their many sins. This speaks volumes about their lack of faith in Jesus the Christ.

When I saw my sin and just how sinful I really was before the Lord, it completely humbled me and I cried out to God. He saved me by His grace alone through faith in Christ alone! For a man to talk like the pope, it shows a lack of fear in God and a trust in self. This totally denied the whole reason why Jesus came into the world ~ to die the death we deserve! Jesus is the only One qualified to pay the penalty for our sins. Anyone who trusts in themselves is making God a liar.
Jesus also said to confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another. Also, he gave his disciples the power to forgive and retain sins.

I left the Catholic Church in 1986 after I went to Mass and the priest preached a liberation theology message. I thought these guy is a communist nut cake. So I said I am done, I bought a bible and started reading. In 1991 I raised my hand in an altar call and I accepted Jesus as my Lord. I blew it many times, but my faith got stronger and stronger. Funny how the pope says people are basically good when the bible says the opposite.

At 0:42 he says people are fundamentally good. The start of the gospel is the understanding we are all sinners in need of redemption. We need to be reborn into Spirit who is good. But we are not.

I keep Faith in Jesus even as I constantly struggle to provide groceries and basic necessities for my children both of my sons are special needs taking care of them can be overwhelming at times but I seek and find comfort in our Lord Jesus.
