Great review of this ebike. Did you have problems with the breaks squeaking? I’ve watched a few reviews of this Gallop ebike and there seems to be a squeaky sound when the riders apply the brakes.
Another great review RK9 , I'm a little on the offense in buying a Electric vehicle. I really wanted a Varla Eagle One and I've seen so many good things about it and yet some bad , thinking strongly on the vsett10+ , I would like to know what you think. Since you were my inspiration to purchase an electric vehicle.
I know I'm not RK9, but I bought an Apollo Phantom earlier this year and I love it, has all the range and power I need for my commute and for getting around town. I know RK9 hasn't reviewed it on his channel (to my chagrin!) but it's worth your consideration in my view. Disclosure: RK9 doesn't like thumb throttles on scooters, but I prefer them to trigger throttles, personally.
The pedal assisted motor speed limit of 25 km/h seems designed for Europe. Want more speed? Either do your work on the pedals (hard with fat tyres to get much faster than 25) or ride a moped or some other license-plated bike if available.
This is the bike I had set my mind on purchasing I was excited about everything from the style to all the standard feature that are optional on MANY other bikes , There was one other bike that really caught my eye ( the super monarch crown ) the price more that twice this did not deter me ,But I ran into THIS and this became a more reasonable option , I even was aware off it being somewhat slower but with this video it appears to be even slower than I had 1st thought while watching other videos , I'm sort of at a standstill because of this and also not sure WHERE THIS BIKE IS MANUFACTURED and where the batteries wil! come fromshluld I need a replace it or other parts especially if they are coming from overseas ....I'm still have this on my list as a continent but Ill be looking at mid to high end American Built with parts the are manufactured HERE !
@6:30: For a moment i thought you just got a German version of the bike but when you used the throttle i knew that can't be. In Germany we have very strict and stupid laws which mean an e-bike or e-scooter can't drive faster than 25 or 20 kmh which would be 15 or 12 mph.
Great honest review, but I'm a little confused about the top speed issue. Can you use the throttle and pedal at the same time to achieve that top speed of 25 mph, or if you pedal does it cancel the throttle input?
Pedal only goes 16 mph. Throttle goes up to around 24-25 mph. If you pedal with the throttle you'll go the throttle speed, but you'll just be pointlessly spinning the cranks, it won't help with anything
lol 15 mph is to slow he says, welcome to the baby stat laws of Australia. All ebikes in AU can only go a max of 25kph (15mph) and can only have a max 250watt motor. People on road bikes can easily maintain fasters speeds on the flat.

What was the system password you used to unlock the top speed to 28mph? 0000 isn't working for us.
If I was going to choose a good bike for dirt roads as we live in the country do you supplest this bike or the Zugo Rhino?
Probably the Rhino just because of the better power, though I can't remember well how the suspension felt on the Rhino when I test rode it
this bike for sure, cauz girls r scared of going fast
What does throttle and pedaling get you for speed? It seems like all bikes require throttle and pedal for high speeds. Maybe I’m wrong…
You should review the lectric xp 2.0

25 mph in pedal mode and 20 mph with thumb throttle only.
