Pastor, I stumbled onto your channel while looking for videos that contrasted dispensationalism with covenant theology. Then I saw this. Now, I'm struggling to find a way to say this politely, because I'm well aware how people react - a moral panic - when one challenges their beliefs, but I can't seem to find the words. So, I'll just be direct. I am truly stunned at the lack of self-awareness that a person could, on the one hand accept the morality towards men's role (stated and implied) as promulgated in the Scriptures, and on the other hand read a based book about how men are getting the shaft from women and society for trying to fill those roles. Does that not cause any cognitive dissonance for you? Bible = the ultimate Blue Pill ideology for men, yet exposing the war on masculinity to part of the Red Pill ideology. How you can entertain such obvious contradictions? Let me guess, you don't accept that the Scriptures are part of the problem.
I guess I'm not sure I understand your critique, Julian. If I did, I suspect we would differ on our interpretation of the Bible, but I'm really not tracking, so I don't know that to be the case.
@@PastorTanner If you insist that the Bible promotes masculinity in men, then yes, we would disagree. However, I applaud you for encouraging your listeners to read such a book. I also apologize for posting in the first place. I should know better by now that people believe what they want to believe, and no evidence that contradicts their beliefs will be accepted. Thanks and take care.
