For a big machine like her she’s light. Volvo 110H with fork weighs in around 20.5 tons I’m driving a 434 out here in New Zealand and she’s weighing over the bridge at 16ton that’s with water in wheels and fork and nowhere near as big as the 457 Had an L90H on demo at start of season and she was 16.5 ton over the bridge with no water and fork. We layer all the silage and maize here too if u start the ramp right and layer it up too your height and work it back it’s the same thing that what we do here but I get them boys be putting 2nd and 3rd cut over that and maybe whole crop and when feeding it out they want abit of everything on the face.
The ambulance was called because someone fell in the pit and they where looking for it, legend has it they can be seen driving backwards and forwards on the pit to this day
That 457 is some weapon! Mr Clyde will be wanting one to keep in front of his Self Propelled soon!
hahaha, he might need an even bigger shovel again to keep up with the 2205 ;)

yes lad, different tactics for different scenarios ;)
layers and well rolled better than just dozing it in like most contractors these days
yes yes
Great video John my cousin has 4 wagons and we always arguing do we layer or ramp up depends on pit really
depends when the pressure is on ;)
Unless they brace the trailer with steel at either side it will bulge again the next load?
How many acres are goin into that pit,,?it’s huge
Wish I knew
It is a BIG pit alright
@@farmflix where them contractors from?is the farm all dairy or wat?

Good video where’s that filmed ?
L90g is 17ton and a bit ton with the buck rake on. Far more compact machine than that 457
wouldnt want it to drive over your toe anyway :)
The 457 is 20.5 ton lad
Where was that filmed.
Why put the silage in a shed ?? In my mind that's taking up good space ??
@Thomas Suffern yeah but your still putting plastic on it so why not do it outside ??
@@brodieallen2173 its far tidier no waste on wet days wen filling the feeder sheets are dry no messing
@@paddy1758 hard to justify a big shed just for that, its only to piss off lads with big shovels
I there an ambulance rolling the pit
