Huge triaxle trailers sound ok, but there is a maxium weight limit for tractor and trailer combinations on the road, also a max weight limit for a loaded trailer, all of which has to be taken into consideration. 31 tonnes and 18.29 tonnes.
Unfortunately that's ignored by a lot of people and these trailers continue to destroy country lines. Asking drivers to break the law every day is a low life thing to do too. same with these huge slurry tankers.
@@gregshearer423it's not a problem until it is a problem. When there is an accident and the tractor trailer combination is found to be overweight you will not be insured, and all costs will have to paid out of own pocket.
I always wondered why tractor and trailer combinations in the UK are way smaller than those used here in Germany. But the weight limit here is 40 tons, thats almost ten tons more than what you guys are allowed. If you compare our Krampe, Kröger or Fortuna trailers to the ones seen in this video, they are f'ing huge!
Big kit big finance payments big fuel bills big wages bills big breakdown bills, farmers taking best part of 12 months to pay is there any money left for the man who has all the stress of running this outfit ???

A triaxle trailer in Ireland can be up to 34 tonnes without tractor provided they meet certain requirements and the tractor is plated to that weight.
i love to count the number of silage trailers in the yard off the A75, 13 is our record we have seen!
