Love your videos so glad your doing scan n I have the scan n cu 2 and simply applique now have the courage to plug it in and get started. As i bought them for quilt appliqueing. thank you so much.
Hi Becky, I am moving my sewing space downstairs to a larger room. Thank you for showing us your room makeover/organization. I am getting a lot of good ideas for my room.
This came just in time; I may still make mine; but now I'll at least check it out! Praying on all going well with your hubby's surgery! TFS and have a great weekend!
Becky, thank you so much for sharing your vast knowledge of the Scan n Cut. I bought the Scan n Cut DX on QVC months ago still haven't used it! Shame on me. I love quilting and applique and need to get on the ball and utilize it. Thanks.
You got the Algot??!!! I feel badly for you!! It was a NIGHTMARE!!!i gave the system to my friend who made it work for her, but I had a difficult time getting the drawers to work. I scrapped it and got the Elfa system from The Container Store!! LUV IT!! It’s NOT cheap but it WORKS!!
It really wasn't bad at all, but I had put lots of IKEA furniture together so I was familiar with the whole concept. It was a challenge but it turned out nice. Thanks for watching!
,Hi Becky! So good to see you again! This was a great day for me to see you both you and Joy in one afternoon! Yaiii! I see you did great with that Hemnes dresser. I have stuff on it but what a good idea to turn it into an ironing section! I pray for your husband to have a smooth surgery and recover soon! Have a nice crafty weekend !
Thanks so much for your well wishes! I'm looking forward to moving all the mess from under the sit-down into the dresser today. Less clutter means more creativity!
Your ironing station turned out great. I'll be praying for surgeon's skill and a quick recovery for Keith 🙏 I'm really looking fwd to your scan n cut mug rug. I've just gotten on and haven't used it yet. Also just bought a brother Quattro so I'm really interested in learning how to use both f oi r applique. Happy sewing!
Will be praying for your husband 🙏🏻 I loved the Antique Lace pattern too by Missouri Star, but am working on two quilts which will keep me busy for a while. Love your new ironing station! Becca
Praying all went well with your husband. Praying that you are well also. It’s hard to babysit adults lol. Keep us up to date on how he is doing. Hope you are getting along well also. I’ve had 15 hernias. Fixed them in only 2 surgeries.God Bless You.
Wishing Keith a speedy recovery. 🙏🏻 I’m lovin’ your red, white and blue combo. I check Missouri Star and Fat Quarter Shop everyday too! (For years!) You just can’t beat the deals. I was tempered with that Tonga collection. I’m waiting on the pink rotating cutting mat MSQ offered last week. They offered $2 shipping that day too. I’m so excited for this one. I also get the monthly Sew Sampler box from FQS. So worth the price. I pass on what I don’t need to my quilt guild ladies. You’re new ironing station is great. You’ve done so many fantastic things with your reorganization. I am an IKEA junky. (I love to organize.) You just can’t beat the workmanship and functionality of their products. Sorry for the long winded message. I’ll give someone else the floor now. 😊
I "almost" got that rotating cutting mat too! But I already have two square ones and gluttony is a sin and all that. lol Of course, that doesn't apply to fabric. :D I used to get the Sew Sampler boxes from FQS too and that's how I got a lot of my patterns and notions. Loved all of it, but finally I started to burst at the seams and unsubscribed. I still love watching all the unboxings on UA-cam though. Thanks for the kind words.
Sending prayers for your hubby and to you as well. Mine had that done and boy was he crabby hence me sending you prayers too 😂. My mom and I went to Ikea for the first time last year and we had a heck of a time with those paths. Finally we had to ask someone how to get out lol. Ours is two story so it was not easy finding our way back to the elevators
It's a really novel concept to make you buy more since you're forced to see everything in the store or suffer nasty looks from other customers if you go the wrong way. I noticed in this one, they have an exchange station in the middle where you can swap out the yellow shopping bag for a cart...which I did! lol They have a captured audience! It was fun though and I managed to get out with only an additional $30 in my cart than I had planned on purchasing.
I live in Europe when the posting fee was "normal" I bought A LOT of fabrics from Thousand and one bold i think the name is. great prices. an abundance of fabrics to choose from. I love Antique lace from Missouristarcompany too, plan to do it as well!. Great studio. fun, may you have inspiration, aspiration and time to do all the beautiful quilting projects in the world. bless.
Love your videos usually- this one was about mug rug prep and forgive me all I saw was what you purchased- sat thru the entire video waiting to see how to do a mug rug using scan and cut
Sorry about that. The title of the video was about the prep for the mugrug. I usually will do a prep video before I begin the actual how-to. That allows my viewer time to get the pattern and fabric so they can sew along with me. Thanks for watching!
O my goodness, me and you are too much alike lol. I buy most of my sewing paraphernalia from MSQC and the Fat Quarter Shop. I also order some from Shabby Fabrics. I actually got to go meet Jenny last summer at Missouri Star and it was awesome.
Oh I'm so jealous that you actually went to MSQC! That's a dream destination vacation spot for me. Jenny is so nice and even if you only see her for a few seconds, she treats you like she has known you all your life. You lucky girl!
Since January 2009 I have had 13 surgeries for hernias. Terrible tissue. Tears like tissue. He will be sore but it is certainly one of the easier surgeries. Make sure he stands straight and does not let his incision heal tight. He won't like it.
I saw an interview with the gentleman who owns Aurifil thread, he says never expose your thread. Keep it in a closed container in the dark and don't unwrap it until needed.
Well, he actually made me two of them :D I have the other one down at our coast house. He's a pretty handy guy and I love him for it! Thank you for your sweet comment!
You should watch Jean Truelove she is doing a block party 2019. She did up to 18, she is going to do 42 of them. I haven't tried any yet I love her she has 10 kids and she is a beautiful human being, and has made so many quilts. I want to try to make them. I have never made any so we shall see. I order a lot from Missouri quilt, I watch when free shipping or $2 shipping. I love the chicken project. I have my mother in laws ironing board and underneath its wood and she paid $2.97 for it. Its on the back. I would like to just like to add a rectangle piece of wood on top to make it better.
What did that piece of cork cost? The cork with a gold papery background seems to peel off the gold. I've looked for cork for making wallets or maybe a purse. Beautiful patriotic batiks! So nice to get to see your smiling face!
Hi Diane! I got it at the link below. I grabbed all 3 styles they offer. I think quilting is so much more fun when we're properly dressed. Don't you 3? 😀😀 quilting-is-my-therapy.myshopify.com/collections/products
Do you ever order from Fat Quarter Shop? I love them too and they have flash sales every day I think too. Oops spoke too soon. You mentioned it right after I commented lol
Yep! That's where I got that set of single strips "A Shore Thing". They change their sale item at 10am though and lots of times I miss out because I'm up at 0430 to get MSQC's and I'm at work at 10 and then the FQS item is gone by the time I get home. Dang it! I forget to check at lunch.
Hi Christi! I do all my own quilting on my projects. That's a long arm quilting frame behind me in the video and there's a King Quilter Special Edition (Tin Lizzy) attached to it. Thanks for watching!
Hi Becky. You were missed. Please tell Keith you are both in my prayers. I’ve beenrward to that.rr going to ask you about the scan and cut, so I’m looking fo
I did a lot of research and I have the 650 Wireless. Not having wireless capability is so cumbersome to me but you'd have to figure out what works best for you. Some users are more comfortable moving designs from the laptop to the cutting machine using a USB. The latest model, the DX, doesn't accommodate a 24" mat. So depending on how much you'd use it, you'd need to determine if that is a limiting factor or not.
I am 66 and I am a vegan! It isn't just young folks! I have greatly improved my health by being vegan. And I do not buy leather!! Those poor animals suffer greatly on factory farms, so I will not participate in that. If there are alternate products to use instead of leather, I embrace it. Just sayin'................ Do you need your project to last 100 years, and be waterproof? Probably not. I am also a fabric addict, lol.
Love your videos so glad your doing scan n I have the scan n cu 2 and simply applique now have the courage to plug it in and get started. As i bought them for quilt appliqueing. thank you so much.
Your both in my prayers. God bless you.

I love your personality and videos. I am happy I found u last month.
Aren't you sweet? Thank you!
Wishing your husband good luck all the way from the UK. Another great blog Becky x
Praying for Keith. Looking forward to your mug rug sew along.
Nicely done. You have a great voice and delivery for UA-cam. Off to check out what else you have done and take a peek at the blog.
Best wishes for your hubby! I love your humor!

A new IKEA! And you went! You are much braver than I am!
Thank you for a warm greeting. This my first time on your video.

The pattern is in the description box to get yourself ready. Should be fun! Thanks for the well wishes. Love my Quattro!
Keith is a handy sweetie. You are very lucky.
Best wishes to your husband! And to you!
I hear that there is a good alternative leather product made out of pineapple skin?!?!
Nice ironing station.
I will pray for Keith to have a successful surgery, and speedy recovery.
Thanks for sharing and may God bless y'all!
Will be praying for your husband 🙏🏻 I loved the Antique Lace pattern too by Missouri Star, but am working on two quilts which will keep me busy for a while. Love your new ironing station!

Thank you! Isn't that Antique Lace just gorgeous? That's the first time I've ever wanted to do a pattern more than once. Enjoy your afternoon!
@@PowerToolsWithThread i like Missouri, i do some patterns form them that are fast and easy for gifts for other people. enjoy life!!

What is the spelling of the dresser? Dimensions please. Great video!
IKEA HEMNES.

Questions about embrillance, I haven't purchased yet, but can you tell me if embr8llance will unzip files
Embrilliance does not 'unzip' files. That is done on your computer or tablet prior to moving the files into Embrilliance.
The rep on the scan and cut told me that it would dull the blade. Please let me know if you found that out.
I saw an interview with the gentleman who owns Aurifil thread, he says never expose your thread. Keep it in a closed container in the dark and don't unwrap it until needed.
OMG! Your husband made that tailors tool for you? I just bought one on Amazon for almost 30 dollars. Wow! Anyway I love the tool. Lucky you. :)
Well, he actually made me two of them :D I have the other one down at our coast house. He's a pretty handy guy and I love him for it! Thank you for your sweet comment!
Yes, Scan n Cut project

Jean is a hoot! Love to watch her videos. 😊

I think it was $18.95. I did make a zipper pouch last weekend with it.
Prayers.
I need a T-Shirt like yours. Where did you get it?
Hi Diane! I got it at the link below. I grabbed all 3 styles they offer. I think quilting is so much more fun when we're properly dressed. Don't you 3? 😀😀 quilting-is-my-therapy.myshopify.com/collections/products

So who is going to quilt it for you?
Hi Christi! I do all my own quilting on my projects. That's a long arm quilting frame behind me in the video and there's a King Quilter Special Edition (Tin Lizzy) attached to it. Thanks for watching!
Your link to Beverlys.com does not work any more. No pattern on the site.
Dang! That's too bad. That happens sometimes when blogs are not kept up or their owner doesn't renew. Thanks for letting me know.
I would not have guessed you are that tall, I wish I reached at least 5 foot lol. I am 4"11
Well..... now I Ent to see your mug rug.....
I finished my sample yesterday and will probably do a video this weekend for it. Thanks for watching!
Don’t know where the Olga sew along is found 🤷♀️
Hi Sherry MayLee, this video is from 2019. Probably why you can’t find it. Best wishes.
Hi Becky. You were missed. Please tell Keith you are both in my prayers. I’ve beenrward to that.rr going to ask you about the scan and cut, so I’m looking fo
Hi Kay! Thanks for watching!
What is the best scan cut
I did a lot of research and I have the 650 Wireless. Not having wireless capability is so cumbersome to me but you'd have to figure out what works best for you. Some users are more comfortable moving designs from the laptop to the cutting machine using a USB. The latest model, the DX, doesn't accommodate a 24" mat. Did you put a separate top on the dresser
No. All I did was cover the top that came with the dresser. Thanks for watching!
haha. "Vegan alternative to leather". Why does everything have to be a trend? Let's just enjoy and appreciate the cork. LOL
check out Sew sweetness on UA-cam- she has lots of projects ( some free) to make with cork.
I think people like UA-camrs to do instructional vids, because they like to see people screw up and fix it😝✂️🧵🐈🐾
If I did videos of all my screw ups, I don't think UA-cam has enough server space! lol
It’s NOT ORGANIC like leather LOL
