Good way to rank the season. Motion definitely deserved most creative. I think Divas are as clean as clean can get. They were labeled as a different team on this vid and one of the top 10 weekly vids. All of the captains are amazing ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Did they really shock anything??🤔🤔 most teams had multiple wow moments and shocks throughout the season. What was theirs? I'll wait.... Chile even the Dolls dancing in gold Nancy's was a shock. Not to mention stingettes basically giving wow and shock moments every game. Even Motion playing musical chairs. So what was the Divas?? Or were they just basic and "clean" and boring.

I honestly wouldn’t have even known that the Stings uniforms were on shein if you didn’t say anything. That just made me appreciate their team even more for transforming them so well 🔥
Thee Settes ate!!! So proud of the entire squad. Every game was spectacular. Each squad did great. I’m proud Mississippi made the list three times. Honorable mention to Tuskegee Piperettes. They were amazing this season as well.
As a Stingette fan, I can't even lie that the Settes took it all this season. Laneia was perfection and brought so much innovation to the team. Amazing job overall.
All season long ya been so press to compare the jsettes to the stingettes 🙄🙄jsettes should appreciate all these apparent stingettes fans. Even at the end we still get the, "I love the stingettes, but" fans.

I was honestly bored this season vs last season. I applaud all the ladies for their dedication and hard work! All captains did a phenomenal job as well. Not much of a battle season either. In my opinion the best battle still to date this season was Stingettes vs GGs, they both understood the assignment! Jsettes brought more to the table, Maddie kept me mesmerized ✨, GGS/Stingettes and those bobs 😍. Forever a doll, motion, and fox fan no matter what! New costumes this season was chefs kiss as well for all teams!
The Satin Dolls were very good and clean. Their band had a good clear sound as well. This dance, like some of the other dance teams, I have never heard of. They don't get enough attention. I hear a lot about some but it was nice to see teams I am not familiar with such as Black Foxes, Satin Dolls, Motion of the Ocean, 14 Karat Gold, & the Dancing Divas.
More like Divas give Cardi energy. A remixed, marketing stunt with no real talent. But we all know who the Queen B is. And all ya haters are really the stingettes sons
This was an interesting. Especially against my list , It goes to show we can watch the same thing and have different perspectives. Stingettes placement on my list would have people disown me 🥴
Oooouuuu!!! My top 10 Squads this season! 10. Ooh Lala. Them girls surprised tf out of me! 9. Piperettes! Definitely see the direction theyre headed in glad theyre elevating the style!!! 8. Mvsu Satin Dolls! The girls came for blood this season! Definitely got better towards the middle and end. 7. Passionettes. Always on GO!!! 6. Dancin' Divas!!! Cleanest squad this season!!! 5. Fabulous Dancing Dolls! My girls had a great season! Even with the mess ups the dolls still looked Good! Just wish we had more all togethers!!! 4. Motion. Definitely consistent and had a great season! Wish they kept that energy from 22 though! Motion squad definitely backs their captain up! 3. Uapb Golden Girls. On my mama!!! All i need to say!!!! 2. Alcorn Golden Girls. Definitely the underdogs of the Season! So many people doubted jak but she shut her haters up! I just wish we saw the full squad more ! GGS look amazing with their full squad! Adds to the intensity,! 1. Jsettes and Stingettes!!!! Both squads ate this season up!!! I couldn't help but give number 1 to both squads they DELIVERED!!! Every got damn Game!!! No cap im very disappointed in my Black Foxes! Because idk WTF going on over their! But how you a 2year captain and dont go full throttle! Idk if it was stuff behind the scenes but this was NOT my favorite season of the foxes!!! The girls barely even performed this season! The Orchesis! Yeah ima need a Captain with energy like essence and a squad that backs their captain up because even though they were better than last season! Its just still not clicking!
What school is MOTION OF THE OCEAN from? This dance team was phenomenal. It is very difficult to dance with heels on. If they did that great with heels on, they must be awesome without heels. I love the circle idea. Hella creative. I was entertained throughout the entire dance. Kudos to the Choreographer!! That was very odd. I have never seen that. I adore the outfits!
My Top 5 HBCU Dance Teams for 2023 are based on the elements of dance, stage presence and entertainment value at halftime. Halftime is number one. Halftime allows you to showcase your craft and the essence of dance. The stand routines are secondary, and the entertainment value is restricted, your audience has left the stadium during the 5th quarter. (1) The Fabulous Dancing Dolls - Class, charm, choreography, glitz, poise and stage presence. ESPN rated The Fabulous Dolls #1 in November (2) Prancing J-Settes - Sponsor needs to pay more attention to detail. Some uniforms should be retired. Storm is a uniform that should be retired. (3) 14K - Great choreography and routines are high energy. Performances are always short, precise and entertaining. (4) Motion - Great choreography and routines. Uniforms are always top-notch. Great sponsor. (5) Stingettes - Top notched group in the stage presence category. Best uniforms and they have the bodies to fit them. They are always a class act. Performances with the Honeybeezs doesn't look one group performing in unison.
Anyone who disagrees with the J Settes chosen as the top team is delusional to the 10th power and even more so if you don't agree that LaNeia does not deserve to be named the top Captain. As Morgan said, they were powerfully consistent throughout the season. Only 2 teams really gave them a battle worth mentioning, in my opinion, and those are Satin Dolls, and them damn GGs. I agree with the top 4 picks. I watched a lot of 14K and Divas. They deserved those spots.
She caught my eye from the first game. Very consistent & confident. I can see her as a contender for captain in the future. She led very well at one of their parades.
Not a Jsettes fan really but they woke me up this season for sure! They deserved #1! I do think the dolls fields should have been higher than same of the other teams but thats my taste. Huge discrepancy between captain and team with the dolls this year. For the captain to be rated a 10, the team really had to stink it up in your eyes to still be rated so low lol. I agree the team let her down too often but they're always gonna be my go to team. Love them but they gon need to come off the bus SWINGING next season.
Stings are my fav but let’s be fr. If we gone be honest and brutal with every other team let be honest with the stings. Chile anyways hopefully Princess gets captain and turns it all the way up. 😊
Stingettes shouldn’t have been #3. Higher than the dolls (yes). But dolls and sting didn’t give swac royalty this year. Sorry. Also would’ve loved to see ncat and howard somewhere on the list. They had great seasons
Settes took the season. Laneia was a freak of nature. I never in my life seen a better captain. And I been studying majorettes since 06. Laneia girl what was you on this year. We need an interview. But I love my stings they took the looks for the season. I just didn’t get my usual sting from y’all. And the switching the squad out every year played against y’all I barely knew any names besides Zy and Pip. And Princess. But the other girls were 😊like who tf is that?
No way stings in top three. Only thing anyone ever says about them is their unis were pretty but never any comments on dancing unless it’s about it being too hard too sloppy and just basic. Zy didn’t do anything for me but make me cringe….a lot. Was def better as a wing girl.

The GG’s are definitely under an attack on this platform. Morgan, no matter how hard you try to make the ALCORN STATE UNIVERSITY GOLDEN GIRLS irrelevant it will not happen. The GGs have survived much worst than you. Those young ladies have been attacked since the beginning, and yet they still rise. There are schools the use to say they would never dance like the GGs, because they are nasty, they open their legs, and they turn their butts to the crowd, but here we are in 2023 and some of those same squads are trying to dance hard and grown like the GGs. Just a little history for the platform. Morgan, keep up the good work. Morgan, since the former GG and you had that disagreement it just seems like your platform and you are on a mission. Just speaking my truth. I hope your platform allow others to have an opinion.

The Dolls did good this season considering the music they had to dance too. And I understand a crab messing but Cavi, no ma'am. You can't be the ace and be messing up like that.
Honesty came even harder this year. Also her 22’ & 23’ babies backed her up all season. They only had 6 games & a BOTB however this was a spectacular season for them. I’ve enjoyed Both years with Honesty as captain. She brought back the essence of 14K.
With Appearance being a category: if a team is not uniform, ESPECIALLY with the hair, then they should not be in the top five. I say that as someone who love Dejzanna’s short cuts.
So I'm hater! I just don't see what ya see in the Divas. I watched a few of their clips and they are so lack luster to me. I feel like they only get mentioned when going against the stingettes. Even the clip played here was MCC. It's like they practice the whole season for that one game even a new uniform that one game and people act like they the best of the best from one game. Their season was boring asf and the looks gave catalog all season long. I feel like a ranking anything close to #1 is out of sympathy for a team still trying to find their identity. Granted it's Morgan's list which is fine but I definitely would put them at like 6. My # 1 would actually be a tie between stingettes and j-settes (really laneia). Stingettes was on every game and was very good and entertaining all season. Every season has a captain(s) that's just it, and this season was Laneia. I gotta give her, her 10s.

Even orchesis are still doing stingette counts. Just about every school especially the divas have remixed most of their counts. Stop playing with them. Honesty was what the team needed up front. She brought new life back into the team post pandemic. She’s like a hybrid of Jakia & Shatangela. That 🧨 energy is a force.

This season was great the Settes were perfection … && I’m so proud of my Stings!!
Anyone who disagrees with the J Settes chosen as the top team is delusional to the 10th power and even more so if you don't agree that LaNeia does not deserve to be named the top Captain. As Morgan said, they were powerfully consistent throughout the season. Only 2 teams really gave them a battle worth mentioning, in my opinion, and those are Satin Dolls, and them damn GGs. I agree with the top 4 picks. I watched a lot of 14K and Divas. They deserved those spots.
I’m a Jsette fan but yes I definitely love Kyra from the GG’s
She caught my eye from the first game. Very consistent & confident. I can see her as a contender for captain in the future. She led very well at one of their parades.

Huge discrepancy between captain and team with the dolls this year. For the captain to be rated a 10, the team really had to stink it up in your eyes to still be rated so low lol.
I agree the team let her down too often but they're always gonna be my go to team. Love them but they gon need to come off the bus SWINGING next season.
Stings are my fav but let’s be fr. If we gone be honest and brutal with every other team let be honest with the stings. Chile anyways hopefully Princess gets captain and turns it all the way up. 😊

Settes took the season. Laneia was a freak of nature. I never in my life seen a better captain. And I been studying majorettes since 06. Laneia girl what was you on this year. We need an interview.

No way stings in top three. Only thing anyone ever says about them is their unis were pretty but never any comments on dancing unless it’s about it being too hard too sloppy and just basic. Zy didn’t do anything for me but make me cringe….a lot. Was def better as a wing girl.

The GG’s are definitely under an attack on this platform. Morgan, no matter how hard you try to make the ALCORN STATE UNIVERSITY GOLDEN GIRLS irrelevant it will not happen. The GGs have survived much worst than you. Those young ladies have been attacked since the beginning, and yet they still rise. There are schools the use to say they would never dance like the GGs, because they are nasty, they open their legs, and they turn their butts to the crowd, but here we are in 2023 and some of those same squads are trying to dance hard and grown like the GGs. Just a little history for the platform. Morgan, keep up the good work. Morgan, since the former GG and you had that disagreement it just seems like your platform and you are on a mission. Honesty came even harder this year. Also her 22’ & 23’ babies backed her up all season. They only had 6 games & a BOTB however this was a spectacular season for them. I’ve enjoyed Both years with Honesty as captain. She brought back the essence of 14K.

So I'm hater! I just don't see what ya see in the Divas. I watched a few of their clips and they are so lack luster to me. I feel like they only get mentioned when going against the stingettes. Even the clip played here was MCC. It's like they practice the whole season for that one game even a new uniform that one game and people act like they the best of the best from one game. Their season was boring asf and the looks gave catalog all season long. I feel like a ranking anything close to #1 is out of sympathy for a team still trying to find their identity. Granted it's Morgan's list which is fine but I definitely would put them at like 6. My # 1 would actually be a tie between stingettes and j-settes (really laneia). Stingettes was on every game and was very good and entertaining all season. Every season has a captain(s) that's just it, and this season was Laneia. I gotta give her, her 10s.

It's not about his list, it's really about sympathy support they get cause everybody know they a team with no identity trying to fit in. Even orchesis are still doing stingette counts. Just about every school especially the divas have remixed most of their counts. Stop playing with them.
