Realized it at the end portal because you have to put the blocks in a certain direction for it to open, there's an inside and an outside, so the second portal could just not open when the blocks were inside-out 🤷♀️

As a programmer, I 200% believed horizontal golem, if only because that looks like something a Java program would do. And then I remembered you can't build golems sideways. xD
You can actually build iron and snow golems sideways but it becomes a regular (standing) golem at the block where you place the carved pumpkin. You can't combine golems like this though...

Only creative players/map makers really have built end portals. (Even nether portals are an unknown thing to a lot of players, hence the creation of the ruined portals to help give them clues.)

I’m surprised people actually don’t know what would happen with the end portal. I though most people knew that it has a certain way of facing, and will only activate if all the blocks are placed from the center
At that point I knew the vídeo was fake
Only creative players/map makers really have built end portals. (Even nether portals are an unknown thing to a lot of players, hence the creation of the ruined portals to help give them clues.)
I can never grasp how the end portal works actually.
