The non circular cabin is counter intuitive as a pressure vessel, it must require tremendous bending strength in the sheet material. Maybe they are using a sandwich construction with a spacer. Then it might be small potatoes for carbon fiber and moderate pressurization but still vastly different from the completely relaxed pure tensile load of a circle. Imagine what it would take for a soda bottle to have a long squarish cross section. It would be thiccer than Nicky Minaj.
Love the wing-mounted engines leaving the fuselage free of engine fittings and noise. Gives the jet a neat look in a sea of light jets that all look the same. Also like the bulged front section that gives a spacious flight deck. I wonder if they will install the amazing Garmin Autoland in this, considering it will be mostly flown by a single pilot. In case of pilot incapacitation it would be a brilliant feature.
The real question on the range no one is asking is this: if you fill all the seats, what’s the range then? The Vision Jet shows 1200nm range but that’s with no passengers! If you fill the seats then your range drops to 400nm. That’s why I want to know the true range of this new jet with 8 passengers.
Fully loaded with passengers I would estimate range to drop to around 2000nm, unless they can build the structures really light. But maybe it will really carry a load far, hard to do in smaller jet segments
It’s unknown if it has the trailing link rigging for unimproved runway, like the PC24. Biggest reason for this aircraft is its 1st VLJ since Lear 36A to have transcontinental range. The PC24 is reasonably fast but given its range and extraordinary insurance and operating costs, the PC12NGX is far more practical for any owner-operator and most Part 135 mission profiles. From a safety record, SETP’s beat turbofans everyday of week and twice on Sunday. This new Honda could be a real game changer for both executive business and charter profiles. The first vlj in a long time that actually makes sense.
Finally somebody offers standard a 4x club + divan with credenza! The best configuration possible, although this particular aircraft seems too small for it. Rather than credenza with TV, which nobody uses, perhaps can set a low buffet or galley.

Is it just me? This interior still looks like it came out of a Ford Pinto. Just like the Honda Jet 420. So boring. Honda, you really need to step up and hire interior designers who actually know what business jet interiors should look like. Your interior looks so dull and boring. And those seats do not look comfortable to sit in for hours on end.
The more color and design you add to a jet interior the busier it gets thus shrinking the cabin feel. I like the simplicity as it feels bigger inside. I do agree that anything gray feels 80’s - I would prefer a cream or champagne color tone.
Nice to see that it's still single-pilot and will get an auto-throttle. Adding Garmin's Autoland would be huge in a single-pilot scenario.
Just spotted your comment after posting mine, I had the same thought (Autoland) !

As a single pilot rated aircraft. Keen to see how it'll perform next to types like PC24
This will be better than pc24 and phenom 300
Not even in the samw class since this will start at $12 or $13m

PC24 and Phenom 300 has a way better interior

3,500nm range be nice
4000km range is actually good enough for transatlantic, just a stop at greenland.
Not if you takeoff from Nova Scotia. You could easily reach London
