This kind of dramatic change in direction could have gone disastrously wrong but I am absolutely loving this and can't wait to hear more

I had never heard Hundredth before. I was riding in the car with my co-worker/ Friend heading to class. She had this song playing in the back ground on low. I zoned out of our conversation and fell in love with this song then and there. It like pulled me in, magnetic sort of. Now I've been listening to all their music. Major Props. It's Great Music. Old and New in my opinion. Keep it coming guys. -Lea

I love this band and this song so much, I got their logo (the two keys!) with the words, "I used to soar, but I don't want to anymore," tattooed on my left tricep. Love it all!
I loved all of Hundredth's old albums, and I'm also so excited for this new sound. Just curious to see what they do in a live setting, a mix of melodic hardcore and shoegaze by one act could be interesting.
Johnny Strachan Said the same about the live setting before seeing this comment haha. But I would love to go see them. As different as the 2 styles are, I feel like would work pretty well. It'll definitely attract a larger more diverse crowd which works in their favor
on their last run, they posted a setlist with the caption "this is the last time you'll hear these songs" so I think they're doing full-transition
Listen to Landscapes, The Cold Harbour and Fucked Up. Those bands love to mix melodic hardcore with experimental rock/ambient. Heart in Hand did that too. I miss that band.
ReprogrammedToHate Heart in Hand still has my heart haha, one of my favorite melodic hardcore bands of all time.

Few bands are able to not only nail the genre that made them famous (in this case, Free was a masterpiece of hardcore), and now they nail this really groovy shoegaze stuff and I love it all. This is great, Free is great... It's like discovering a new band. Anyone with any complaints of their new stuff obviously isn't really listening and are just angry that the band really didn't like their older style and did something different because they wanted to.
Like a butterfly emerging from the cocoon, leaving behind a shell of what once was and now radiating beauty and the majestic representation of change. Change is the way of life, If your caught up in the past then we will only pass you by while your left to sink.
I was pretty against this change with Dead Weight, and I'm 100% convinced now that this was the best possible move for Hundredth, and I fucking love it now. Thanks for proving me wrong, dudes! :D
Recently started checking these guys out and whether they're playing hardcore or indie/shoegazing type music, I'm all in. The contrast would definitely make for an interesting live show

I fell asleep on the bus with my headphones on and when I woke up this was playing, it was so trippy
I feel a strong certainty that one day I'll be really into shoegazing stuff like this, but I just haven't reached that arc of my life yet. Something about this genre just says "you'll be super into this in a few years"
This is their best album for me. I am starving for more stuff exactly like this, love the new sound!

Good album to relax/sleep to. That's not what I go to shows for though and since they won't play any old stuff I'll have to pass on seeing them at Warped. I'd think the set would seem really lethargic with only their new stuff.

Neurotic was alright this man isn't even singing, there's so much reverb and effects on his voice, if you can't sing then don't sing. His screaming vocals were so dope but I guess we'll never hear that again
