👎 I’m going on 70 and DO like/listen to a LOT of DMB songs/performances done over their many years, but NOT this one! I find Dave’s voice to be inconsistent - sometimes it’s spot on and others it’s just poor imo, such as in THIS case. * One of the former 👍 examples are 2 of the several covers he did with Warren Haynes on Neil Young’s ‘Cortez the Killer’ @ MSG and a couple others around that time. With one exception (the one where he seems to have ‘lost’ his voice in parts) they were actually a few of the better ones I’ve yet to hear! I was very disappointed with this one 😩.
It’s called age. As a human ages, they lose the ability. Not the talent. PLUS, he sounds pretty damn good here. Idk wtf you are talkin bout
@@shanePcolson IDK what ur talking about - ‘getting older’! He’s only about 50, and that’s not a valid excuse imo. There are MANY other, much older artists who can sing better than Dave has ever done.
@@elainemeyer5062 well all people are different. Dave also has always had a unique singing style that he has always had and a lot of people still like it

@@shanePcolson LOL - a lot can change between 50 + years. Look at Joe Bonamassa, Clapton, Elton John, and even the late Gary Booker from the original Procal Harem when he performed ‘A Whiter Shade of Pale’ shortly before he passed away in his even older years than those ages u mentioned! His voice was just as 👍 then as he was when he was younger imho! Being the age I am, and liking ALL genres and years/ages of music I focus more on the ‘talent’ perhaps than most who are younger. And additionally, bc of being a pianist and organist since I was 5 yrs old, I tend to be more critical of what’s considered being talented in every type of music - not that it’s an ‘excuse’ for my opinion.
