Hey Caroline - I was one of the folks that closely followed your Beatles albums personal assessment/reaction videos because, as a first generation Beatles fan, it was very interesting for me to see how much (or if) a younger person would "absorb" Beatles music. BTW, your final video of listening to the Abbey Road album is a classic - I've passed it on to many Beatles fans and non-fans, all to positive reviews! Your reactions to Abbey Road were so heartfelt and enthusiastic ... thank you for that! Anyhow, when you were struggling to arrive at an answer to the question, "where do I go from here?", after that Abbey Road video, and, folks were suggesting that you continue on to tackle the solo Beatles releases --- while I would have enjoyed such videos --- I was also saying to my PC screen (to you), "DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM! GO WHEREVER *YOU* WANT TO GO!!" I'm happy that you've found a new direction! You gotta do whatever turns *YOU* on! Have fun!!!! 🙂Mike
Fellow youtuber here, I understand the struggle. At the end of the day you have to be true to yourself. If you dont really love the videos you are making theres really no point is there! I'll watch out for your new direction and stay subbed since I think you're a nice person.

You are very bright & creative - I would love to see analysis videos on why certain songs are compelling - the role of repetition, the role of complexity, rhythms - certain rhythms work better ... and songs vs production vs performance. At least occasionally. Because very few people have both the understanding and the vocabulary to do so.
Wow, that was very cool. I don't know whether it's never been done before, but I know I've never seen anything like it. Innovative idea, and the music was beautiful. Professionally, this could open many more doors for you than reaction videos.

As someone of Greek background I was pleased to hear you are doing something on Greek Mythology. By the way Antigone is one of my favourite Greek tragedies.

Welcome back! One piece of advice I have to make videos about things / with titles that people who don't know your channel would understand and therefore would consider viewing, as opposed to only people who know your channel understanding the video when it pops up in their recommended.

My first LP was Sgt pepper in 1968. After that over the years a had a full beatles collection. Single and LP.
I did a disco in the 90s doing 60/70s music. Came back home at 2am. after a gig. It was raining so did not empty the car out. In the morning everything had been stolen.

One argument about YOUR reaction videos: you often 'played along' and displayed an understanding what composers were doing. Since you're a composer as well, I LOVED the idea of sitting over your shoulder and 'being a part' of hearing your new compositions. "Oh - so THIS is the result from her listening to this or that..." The phrase "You wouldn't you love to be a fly-on-the-wall during those sessions?" And you, Caroline, were providing us with that chance. And unlike Dudley Moore's need to PHHTTTT himself out of Peter Cook's small Hell versions (BEDAZZLED, 1967), we could watch all the way!

Thanks for your reactions to Beatles albums. I'm a huge Beatles fan and musician also. Your melodic sense and sense of music theory is excellent! I love your analyses from that perspective also. Your new direction is cool in a good way. I will check those stories out. If you decide further down the road to delve back into legendary music - I would love to see a Rolling Stones analysis of their albums during the Beatle years & maybe a Beatles vs. Stones. I love them both but have bias toward the Beatles. Anyway, just a thought. Best of luck & best regards doing the Mythology stories - I love those too. It will be great to see the differences between Disney-esque and presentations closer to the originals! Thanks again,

That looks so fun and cute! Every time you did a composing exercise? I was blown away! You SHOULD be doing stuff like this! And there are so many stories to discover....and for you to tell! You're going to build a new audience, over time, and learn all kinds of things in the process. Ancient stories, editing and animation tricks.....who knows what else? Thanks for the update; as long as you're not in a sad funk, then I'm happy for you to be doing ANYTHING other than the stuff you've already posted. (as much great as all that was, and is!)

Good for you, Caroline! I know I'm far from the only one happy to see you back. I loved your reaction-video "journey" through the Beatles' music - so much so that I still rewatch them from time to time - but I'm sure not jumping ship on you now! In fact, a suggestion for an ancient Japanese folktale you might check out: Taketori Monogatari, or "The Bamboo-Cutter's Tale", a poignant and powerful story from around the 8th century. I'm very excited for your new direction. Ultimately, people put out their best work when they are inspired by what they do. Your best audience is one where your creations resonate with them as well. I really enjoyed your music reactions when I could feel you were inspired, it felt genuine and new. Your reaction videos show you are very capable of bringing your voice and passion to the UA-cam screen. Some of the later ones felt forced, I'm I'm sure you felt it too, so I'm glad you've decided to try something new and inspiring to you. Your excitement in this preview video is infectious and I cannot wait for the 4th to get here.

Well done Caroline! Like yourself, we combine music and narrative to tell stories - ours is local social history and it is very enjoyable and fulfilling. I loved the song extract you posted up - it reminded me a little bit of Muse (that's a compliment by the way!) and I do hope you post up completed songs like this as well. Keep on persevering as you are undoubtably a talent and I know of no one else exploring music and mythological legends in the way you are planning on doing.
