From "The Office": an American television mockumentary sitcom broadcast on NBC. Created as an adaptation by Greg Daniels of the British series of the same name, it is a mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper supply company. The series stars Steve Carell as Michael Scott, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesly and Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute.

Pam will crush Ryan given any chance. Very few characters in The Office are as deluded about their own level of of intelligence as Ryan
I’m not so sure he’s deluded. I think it’s more of a hustle. If he really thought he was that smart, he wouldn’t have lost his ambition. As it is he just stands around waiting for an opportunity to hustle someone else. Someone who thinks they’re smart is much more active in trying to do things.
Dwight overestimates himself, and so does Michael. Who could be more self-important and narcissistic than those two???

I have to agree with Ryan when comparing being a mechanic and being a CEO of GM. Socially one seems better, but the reality is that without the mechanic, GM wouldn't function. It's the same the other way around, too. For a company to survive you need the service employees provide. They're all pretty important and valuable. They're the same, the only difference is how we treat these positions.
…and the way they are compensated. In the US it’s estimated that in general a CEO makes about 344x more than production and non-supervisory workers. I do agree with your point that both roles are similarly important, which just makes this huge disparity even more disgusting
