Take nothing personal from anyone. Hurt people hurt people... so, never take it personal. My mother has everything... lots of love, money, good health, etc... but, she is unhappy daily. My mother is simply programmed by my grandmother, and her great grandmother.... Once, I realized she was programmed by trauma--I have much compassion for her.

My parents literally abandoned me and three younger siblings when I was 4 years old. The youngest a few months old.
When we were discovered after two weeks alone, the youngest was unresponsive. All of us special needs.
My paternal grandparents adopted us and raised us in safe household.
Now, in my mid-60s, I am alone temporarily, retired, and hopeful for my future.
