As a Tentatek fan. I can tell that this is very accurate.
I loved the Tentatek Splattershot, hated the Neo Splash-o-Matic, and my X power is only 3 points lower than the amount of Kid Icarus games.
I don't really have a favorite brand, but I do remember wearing Inkline when playing a lot of Turf War. You got that one right!

My favorite brands are Rockenberg and Forge, and while I already don’t like ranked too much and know I suck, the Rockenberg one isn’t too accurate. HOWEVER, the Forge one got me to a tee it was a bit scary lol
Edit: I love ballpoint splatling so that was accurate :-]
I quite like ZF. Probably because of ZF scoped charger.
I also liked Forge in splatoon 2 but all the best gear hasn't appeared in splatoon 3 yet

the "assumptions" are based off the what the splatoon 2 art book (i think thats the correct book, i may be thinking of a different splatoon 2 thing) says about a lot of the brands, some of the newer brands tho i just did stuff based off the silliest little clothes they had! also im sorry bro takora is just easier for me to say-
Edit: I think the only thing not based off the Splatoon 2 book was krak-on bc in Splatoon 1 I was a krakon roller player who used stick controls (I was bad at the game which is why I only played splat 1 like twice lmaoo)

(One of) My favourite brands is krak-on because it looks like an orange and I do use sticks, but I’m A rank and play charger( also splatoon one is the best game return of the mammalians is terrible and shallow and downright laughable)
