Heh, I don't think anyone got what I was trying to reference. A while ago, I did a 3-Heart challenge of The Minish Cap. No potions, fairies, or Heart Containers. Made it as far as the boss of the Temple of Droplets before I died.
Also, not to nitpick, but there's more than 1 death animation in some games, like dying while on water vs. land, like seen in the video between Majora's Mask for N64 and 3DS. There are also spinoffs... though I'm not sure if you can get a "Game Over" screen on those. It could also have included the death animations of Link in Souls Calibur II, abd maybe the Smash series. There's also GBA A Link to the Past, which has a slightly different death, thanks to Young-Link-esque sounds and such. If OoT and MM were shown twice (3DS and N64), there's no reason not to show that one too. But those things aside, it was a very good, cool video.

There are instant Game over for Link in Twilight Princess such as not getting to the surface of the water in time when wearing Iron Boots but not wearing Zora Armor (tunic), and wearing Zora Armor while exploring Goron Mines in some lava filled rooms and falling into the lava while wearing one. That's a no-no!

The most disturbing one is ocarina of time 3D, not because the death screen is creepy but because they died inside the great deku tree, the easiest dungeon in gaming history.
BotW is realistic because when u die, you don't have a death scene like the other Zelda games. You go into ragdoll mode.
