The gauntlet on Jin Woo's hand is the High Knight's Gauntlet which prevents hand injuries. That's how he caught the sword. He also has extremely high damage resistance once he drops below 30% health due to a buff that kicks in at that point as well as from the Kasaka venom and from all of the armor.

By defeating previous knights in the dungeon he found B Rank Armor: "High Knights Gauntlets" with the additional effect: "prevents Hand Injuries* - These enabled him to catch the sword of Igris at the throne. I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't flashed the card of the item when he was equipping the stuff he found.
@@bluestReacts Yeah it is kinda ex machina moment that he can grab the sword so easy without that detail. But it is just a small one and 90+% will not ask how he can do it - just enjoy the ride. And it is a hell of a ride. The show does other things nicely for like him now again going for the eye as a weak point. So why complain beside that he has holes in his hands when it comes to the teleportation stones / which makes it another running gag.
Watching your reaction make me really glad that the manhwa and novel is finish, i'm so glad that i kinda know what was goinh on next. I can't imagine the suffering if this is original anime or if the manhwa is still on going. Its will make me miserable, not to mention how nasty they do with the cliffhanger, They really unhinged on that part. Anyway, finally we got our good boy Igris on the ride, can't wait for the whole gang to show up.

Yeah I had no clue how he was able to catch the sword bc he had been damaged earlier despite wearing the armor and that was only by punches
