Though I don't expect any new gun control federally over the next two years, I can't forget that the bump stock ban came about during Trump's last term. I am cautiously optimistic about the courts continuing to strike down current gun restrictions.
The outlook on prices would be good, but for the question of tariffs. A new tariff on certain commodities imports could make ammunition much more expensive, for example.

Funny you put this video out, I feel the same way. Since he won the sites I have shopped with previously are blowing up my email with deals etc. Think they are trying to get ahead of any major drops in pricing while they can. I would expect by the 2nd quarter of 2025 we see the price drop maybe 3rd.

I think I can see ammo prices coming down if wars are ended. (I'd _would_ like to get some more Wolf.) It’s possible the firearm cost may go down as well. With Republicans in charge, if things cool down and people aren’t so scared and nervous, demand may be lower than it has been which might bring prices down. What I want to know is who is going to be running the ATF.
Regarding firearm and ammo prices, here’s a new tidbit for your subscribers. Sorry, it requires a story.
I recently purchased a firearm online from Academy. Academy happened to be running their military discount at the time and for some reason I got the discount on the firearm and some ammo. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the purchase and when I went to pick up the firearm in the store they wouldn't give it to me. They made me cancel and reorder. When I tried to reorder I was no longer getting the military discount. I knew I really wasn’t supposed to get it because firearms and ammo didn’t qualify. I’d gotten it the first time because of a bug in the system. I accepted that, but the problem was, _nothing_ I put in my cart was getting the discount now. Phone calls, emails and online chats with customer service couldn’t solve the problem. Mainly because they weren’t listening to me and addressing the problem. I was repeatedly told firearms and ammo didn’t qualify for the discount. They seemed unable to comprehend that nothing I tried to order was qualifying. I was polite the entire time and eventually just gave up and placed my second firearm order. I picked it up on a Sunday. On Monday I was surprised by a call from Academy customer service. The guy was extremely apologetic for the frustration I had gone through. To make it right he gave me several discounts including the military discount and refunded a bunch of money to me. This, plus a couple of gift cards I had received as a promotion for my purchases and a rebate caused the cost of the firearm to be only one third of their selling price. A great deal! The next day the same guy called me again to tell me that the refund had gone through, apologies and was there anything else he could do for me. Nope, everything is great. Thanks much! Then I was contacted by someone higher up the ladder. More apologies. I was told they (corporate) had had a big meeting over the issues I had experienced and they made a change in their policy. (Share this one with your subscribers.) From now on, firearms and ammo will qualify for the Academy military discount when they offer it. That’s 10% off. Buy a $1,000 rifle and save 10%. That’s exactly what I did. I went back and bought a rifle and ammo and got 10% off with the military discount.
So, all active military and veterans - if you’re thinking about buying a firearm or ammo from Academy, watch for when they offer their military discount and you will get 10% off. All because, I had some problems when they had a small glitch in their system and was polite about it even when they weren’t solving the issue. You’re Welcome!
By the way, congratulations Kentucky! The first State called for President Trump on Tuesday!

As for how ammo and firearms go. It is going to be great. The only thing that would be better is a federal law that all firearms are treated the same nation wide. Just like a drive license.

I think that was mentioned. National reciprocity

We’ll never see $30-35 primers again, but I’d be ecstatic if we could get to $45-50.
Powder, not so sure. Hodgdon is pretty much a monopoly now that Alliant seems to be done.

Maybe if the war ends alliant focuses on civilian sales again… 🤷

It would be a great opportunity to repeal the NFA, or at least rework it to remove supeessors.
