@@prachiverma2605 I am over 60. My mother taught me when I was about 5 or 6. I made nothing but chain stitches for a while, but that gave me practice on my tension. When I got to school and learned to read, she taught me how to read a pattern. That opened up a whole new world for me.
I’m so glad I stumbled upon your channel! I’ve been crocheting for over 40 years and you taught me several things in just this video. Now if only I can remember them! 😂❤
I just wanted to say that I love your videos! U always explain things quite thoroughly but still simply so I always understand. In random moments in ur videos u share little tidbits of knowledge that I never knew. It’s easy to tell you have many many years of crochet experience and I thank u for sharing! Also I just find u adorable! Thanks for sharing ur knowledge!
You are a great teacher I have seen some of these tutorials but you make them look so easy. I will be trying some of them. The crochet without the chain (chainless foundation) is going to be the one I will be trying first. Thank you so much.
All very good tips. But the best of all is the foundation single and double crochet. I have tried for 2 years to understand how to do this, and now you have helped me see it clearly! THANK YOU so much!❤️
Thanks for the tips! I’d like to add my favorite for absent-minded multitaskers - Always make note of the pattern and hook/needles you are working with near your project. Need I say more? ☹️
During a big move long ago , I lost the hook I was using on my first afghan. So I picked up the size hook called for in the pattern - WRONG! I learned the HARD way to note the hook size I use on every pattern. So I guess it was a good thing? I love chainless foundations and use them whenever the first row doesn't use mixed or skipped stitches.
Thank you so much! I wanted to cry, you were so helpful, because I've always simply wanted someone to give me clear tips like you did. I'm a huge fan already!
Thank you so much!! All of these tips were incredibly helpful, especially the chainless start and filling in the space of the last double crochet in the row to create clean edges! Thanks again!
I've been crocheting for awhile now but it's always nice to learn new ways to do things this was a interesting video and it taught me different ways to do things
Definitely a video to keep! You are such a good teacher with some excellent tips and videos that make stitches really clear to understand and follow. I like the last one and I really like the joining the yarn technique which I'll be using now! Thank you for your time in making the videos for us.
