I dont see why you feel obliged to influence how people receive you. If God called you, then He called you and His Holy spirit will influence people on His own, but if you are a FAKE as some people say, again the Holy spirit will do His Job in dwindling your influence. When it comes to the scripture you are quoting Sir, I think if you read further, you will see that its a scripture about honor, and not just for the leaders but for everyone as Max Lucado teaches in his book Honor's reward. Jesus also used this scripture to warn "all" (Leaders and those lead) his disciples about tribulations; as away for them to know that if they are accepted while on evangelism, they get comfort from that fact that it is Jesus, and eventually God who will have been rejected.
The Holy Spirit is indeed increasing His influence since that is the standard by which YOU gauge. I have seen the Holy Spirit use Him to not only influence individuals but provide direction to nations and warn nations and warn of likely catastrophy......You would save much of your time by devoting it to that which you believe than delving in unfamiliar territories.
Really and you compare the Bible to Max L books. That is where loose it. The Bible says some of have read so much and have been puffed up. The level of hypocrisy some of you subtly display is shocking. You read soo much from canal men and think you have gained ability to compare that to Gods word. Stop fooling your self read the bible my dear and get a revelation from God as opposed to trying challenge those who have taken time to understand scriptures without mixture with canalty. Am grateful we have prophets like this man who will say the truth without fear.
