Gold Saucer (Nobuo Uematsu) /Jack’s Maggot (trad)

I learned the first tune whilst playing the PS1 game Final Fantasy VII. It is the theme tune played in the background when you are visiting an amusement park called ‘Gold Saucer’. Many hours spent messing around there and the tune seemed perfect for the box.
The second is a classic trad tune learned initially from the playing of Sam Sweeney and Rob Harbron although I have since discovered it is a Playford tune.

Haha love the Gold Saucer rendition - fits the box brilliantly. They brought the Gold Saucer to FFXIV too and the tune came with it thankfully. That’s going on my to-learn list now 😆

Ahh who knew! I’m hoping the FFVII remake part 2 has the gold saucer in too.
Yeah it’s perfect for box, innit. Strangely no-one has known it anywhere I’ve played it 👌🏼 it’s an earworm - along with the chocobo racing tune…FFVII on the melodeon: the album 😂
