Nope. She did it just naturally. The "grit" sound is most likely from the game's overall sound usage since it's always playing with the old-timey kind of sounds. There are MANY that've practiced their vocals to go low af so if anything, she's trained XD

King Dice inspired me to craft a certain item based off from his deck of cards. When my mom noticed, I showed her this video because she's never heard of the game. She's been in love with the song since then because it brings back memories of when she first got into Jazz music. She was mind blown when I told her that the singer is a woman.
