I purchased a 2018 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk with less than 10,000 miles in mid-June. Just got back from my first extended road trip which included off-roading - I LOVE this car. I felt so comfortable putting almost 2,000 miles in 5 days. Handled off-roads like it was running on smooth asphalt. One drawback - it hates city driving - MPG sucks - but get it out on the highway and I pulled in over 30 MPG. It just loves to run.
I just bought a used 2018 Jeep Renegade Upland. It only had 19,000 miles and looks brand new. It originally was a lease. I absolutely love this vehicle. We went on a long trip this weekend and the drive was pleasant and comfortable. Handled beautifully.
Alotta people in comment section are so mad and broke they can't afford the beast so they make excuses and bash the car lol Same people to question the price...
Well...to be fair. The loaded out off road model, which is kinda what will make it contend with it's larger opponents, causes the price to jump $30k. And once you hit $30k, you start to look at the Jeep Wrangler, which is a far superior off road vehicle. Unless the argument isn't about 4x4 capability to price ratio, then who the hell cares lol. You buy what you like.
We love our Solar Yellow Sport. Its extremely sure-footed in bad road conditions. Ice, snow, mud, you name it. It’s a freaking mountain goat...it’s going anywhere it wants. And the interior space is AMAZING! Only complaint is difficulty finding a model that has a factory tow hitch. Having one installed after market sucks because it hangs really low below the bumper. Makes hauling our kayak trailer a little tricky.
Eric Bostick since the bumper has to come off anyway to install an aftermarket hitch, might as well replace it. No extra work and the end result is much better.
