i do not understand why artist feel the need to apologize for their art supplies and studios. you're an artist, people should understand that art supplies are bought when on sale (usually in bulk) your studio looks great
@@狐火 I think it that it is more because people criticize folks for having lots of things, especially when they don't and are envious/jealous of it, like to deny the hard work people have put in, there is the environment! virtue signalling effect, and the accusations of being a hoarder! that people like to throw around. (Regarding the environment, I am a qualified Zoologist/conservationist and even I notice this issue.) I've also noticed that some people like to harass/beg things from people who are successful in their field so they don't have to spend the money themselves.
Kuretake is Japanese... The reason the pans are bigger than usual is because it was originally intended for Japanese art which uses huge brushes so the pans had to big to accommodate the brush..
Yeah, I should have paid more attention to the writing on the package. I guess I was just caught up in filming the video and trying not to freeze. Cool to know! I figured it was a difference in traditional package sizing/ meant for more of a sumi-e type of art. It’s just strange that all of the places selling them always seem to try to still label them as full pans, etc.
Have you ever considered donating the supplies you don't use as much? You can do whatever you want of course but there's a lot of people that can't afford them that would love to have them, even if used.
Hopefully this video might have given you some ideas about how to store your own art supplies. Thanks for watching! Also, if there's anything shown in the video that you have questions about, feel free to ask but please include a timestamp so that I know exactly what you're talking about 😊
Usually I'll click on one of these "ULTIMATE ART SUPPLY COLLECTION 🤘🤘🤘🤘" things and get two minutes in and think "that's cute", but wow! I thought I had EVERYTHING, and I have most of it, but your studio looks great!
I actually go into quite a bit of detail about them in my studio tour: ua-cam.com/video/Nen6bTUrjEU/v-deo.html It isn’t 100% up to date but it’s pretty close.
0:30 I love how in the background, i see the white spinny container with ur art supplies (forgot what it was called) I have the same exact one near me rn xD
Love this, I’m organizing all my paints and other supplies!! QUESTION?? What is the box on ur desk that u painted white from Michael’s? I just bought tons of paper cubicles, and rolling paper holders? That box looks perfect to store my regular ink pads for card making!! Thank you so much for sharing!!😊💗👍🏼 Liz Cape Cod Ma
The box was just one of the pre made wood things that they sell unfinished. I don’t think they still carry that exact one but I believe there’s something similar. I hope you find something that works!
Most of my friends are digital artists, while im kind of in between? Tho currently im doing traditional because they sell more lol Currently 16, and im already hoarding a LOT.
Where did you get the silicone brush for masking fluid? I've tried using one that is used for clay modelling but the masking fluid just beads off it so it's not usable. I'm wanting to use it for brush lettering and then using watercolors over the top.
I’d love to know the dimensions/size of the Alex shelves next to your desk. The closest IKEA is like stated away, so I have to order online. Found them on amazon, of course my instinct is to get the cheapest, but I want to make sure everything will fit once I get here and put it together. Those drawers would be the prefect size for my supplies!
Not sure if you’re talking about this one: www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/alex-drawer-unit-with-9-drawers-white-50192822/ Or this one: www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/alex-drawer-unit-on-casters-white-40196241/ I figured sending the links with all the info would be easier.
It was from Michael’s. I’m pretty sure it was Recollections or some other of their own brands of storage that they carry. I’m not sure if they still make them but I wish you luck in at least finding something similar!
Well they were a variety of sizes which can be used to get different textures and get little details or cover more area. Also brushes can get old and ratted even with proper care. The glue holding the bristles might weaken over time and stuff. Please keep in mind she does this for a living. That means at least 4 days a week she could be using those brushes for idk exactly but probably 5-6 hours every work day. Thanks! 😄
After seeing ths video the only thing that i want to say is u r so rich that 50 mins is not enough to show off ur art supplies and i am just struggling to buy a small set of prismacolor pencils.life is so ironic!!!
CatcheE mEdia she doesn't have to be rich to have a lot of art supplies. Art is her job, all her supplies are an investment, and she said at the beginning she'd been collecting for years. If you buy a little at a time, even people with money problems can build a huge collection.

Edie Bluntzer i truly agree👍🏻
yea it's like they think they accumulated the art supplies right now and then

I bought my eighth paintbrush yesterday and felt worried that I had too many and was going overboard. Never mind.
I died. You made me laugh out laugh! XO
I always fell that way too 😂
LOL. Cute. You'll have 100's soon.
My cousin’s name is Bianca Mitchell too! 😃
I have never been more jealous in a 48 minute video in my whole life.
your studio looks like an art supply store hahaha... I'm a big fan of your art btw

I give my least used supplies to my brother, he thinks hes not a great artist :( but i encourage him haha
The artist version of a makeup collection 😂
I dont understand how people see this as bragging, I see it as goals 😂🤑🤩
Dang! I thought I had "to much" art supplies. I need to bump up my art supplie numbers.
Finally an artist studio I can get behind!
Hopefully this video might have given you some ideas about how to store your own art supplies. Thanks for watching!

Studio of M.M I love your glass desk! Do you by any chance remember where you got it or the name of it ?
It’s a Studio Designs 'Futura' Art & Craft Table. In Canada Deserres and Curry’s both carry it.
Art supplies *drools*
Storage and organisation *drools*
😝 This was a video I needed
"I'm very aware that this is more art supplies that any one person needs..."
ME: Does.Not.Compute.
Very nice. I love these studio vids too. FYI - the green boxed watercolors are Kuretake's Gansai Tambi. Comes in various sizes. Quite the studio.
Wait-- YOU CAN BLEND COLOURED PENCILS WITH COCONUT OIL?
Yep! Only if they’re oil based pencils though.
Studio of M.M are prismacolor colored pencils oil based?
No they’re wax based. Polychromos are oil based though!
Studio of M.M ok thanks ahah I’m clueless 😂
I'm inspired to rearrange my art studio after watching this. Great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
So much stuff to present that I could hear you loosing your breath. 😅
Usually I'll click on one of these "ULTIMATE ART SUPPLY COLLECTION 🤘🤘🤘🤘" things and get two minutes in and think "that's cute", but wow! I thought I had EVERYTHING, and I have most of it, but your studio looks great!
Can you showcase your figures collection in a video.Would love to see what kinds of things you’re into!🌟

It’s specifically this one but I’m sure you could find it sold elsewhere: www.deserres.ca/en/colour-shaper-masking-fluid-applicator
Helpful information.

It was from Michael’s. I’m pretty sure it was Recollections or some other of their own brands of storage that they carry. I’m not sure if they still make them but I wish you luck in at least finding something similar!

It’s an IKEA Alex drawer. Actually all of the drawer units are the Alex units but in the different sizes they come in.
Ok thank you😊❤
she kept saying "most used" over and over lol haha
Let's count how many times she said "pencils" 💛
What do you use to film your art videos
A Sony A5100.

Butcher's tape?
I cant afford just a pencil
Do you need that many brushes XD

A lot of items in unopened packs
Poor camera work. Made me dizzy.
