Excellent sampler from the history of 20th Century. I have an idea for a complete re-record of the fanfare, the ideal cast for which would be Carol Williams D.Mus., AGO, on the mighty Ruffatti; selected percussionists from the San Francisco Symphony; and the United States Army Herald Trumpets; at Davies Symphony Hall, San Francisco, CA, USA, to take advantage of Dolby's newest cinema-house 3-D audio systems.

Look at the one before the 1994 one. That is the one on 'The Princess Bride'. Strangely, MGM knocked Fox's socks off, stealing 'The Princess Bride'. Then, Sony snatched it from MGM's paws and took it for Lionsgate. All 3 editions have that 20th Century Fox logo LOL.
20th Century executive from 1953: "This is a pretty good fanfare, but it could be better." _(Alfred Newman adds the CinemaScope extension.)_ Same executive: "Perfection."
William Fox formed his studio in 1914. He almost merged with MGM after Nicholas Schenk succeeded Marcus Loew, but Louis B Mayer help kill the deal (and would henceforth call him "Mr. Skunk"). Fox pioneered talkies with the Movietone system, which had the sound on the film (vs Warner Bros. Vitagraph, which used a record synchronized with the film). Fox lost money in the Crash of '29. Darryl Zanuck formed 20th Century after leaving Warners and bought Fox in '35. Now it's owned by 21st Century Fox, s spin-off of Murdoch's News Corp.

Whenever i hear this I always hear the Star Wars theme in my head afterward
I like how even the '75' has the retro 1930s look.

Hearing this fanfare makes me happy. :)
FOX actually had "Fox Fanfare Music,Inc." as a publishing company!
As if I’m now replying in 2024, I can also say that fox films existed as a publishing company too
1:35 Fanfare taken from Fox Video (1993-1995)
Notice that in a lot of the pre-CGI logos, the "2" is smaller than the "0". I wonder why.
The most famous film studio and broadcaster in the world...
Must have these for ringtones.
Opening To Buena Vista International Pictures 2006 DVD
They made it in 2011 so happy.
i think Turbo will be the first Fox movie to have a 21st century fox company byline.
But the byline is excluded.
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away....
