Yes, best part of the hobby... I'm hoping to find something like this some day and help the owner(rather than profit myself)... Black Swamp Find is the top one...

The real problem with finding multiple old baseball cards of the same player is you actually decrease the value, so the smart thing to do would be destroyed the rest and keep the best conditions one

Love these finds! Keep at it, boys! 👍
I'm sure you're well aware of him, and hopefully won't mind me promoting him, but Mike ''Junk Wax Hero" on this platform, has covered most of these 'attic finds' in his 'Attic Find Friday' uploads. Some really great finds. Always nice to have an unexpected find that can be either grows your collection or, as most will do, afford you to make a better life for yourself and your family.

my grandfather was born in 1949, and growing up collected sports cards. his brothers would use them in the spokes of their bikes to make them sound like dirtbikes but he kept them safe and would hide them in a hole in the wall he cut out. When he moved out, he forgot about them and remembered them as an adult. when the house went up for sale, he contacted the owners to see if he could go in and try to get them. unfortunately, the house had changed hands multiple times and when he went in they were gone and never found. someone got away with many of the early yankees rookie cards. gherigs, mantles, all of the big names.

    Great video! Amazing finds!
My grandfather was born the year the Honus Wagner card was printed. He was a huge baseball fan and loved looking through his grandkids cards such as mine. He swore my great grandfather gave him that Honus Wagner card and that he lost it when he moved out to a new house across town. He also said at that time he didn't think much of it ever being worth much either but was bummed when he heard the values of it over the years.
So then he has 3 boys. My dad and uncle go off to the Army and my grandmother cleaned up their rooms/threw out all their cards! They said they had dozens of Mantle rookies etc., even remember putting Mantles through their bike spokes! So my dad and my one Uncle told my grandmother to not throw out their brothers cards and that they could be worth something big in the future.
Well he held on to them and gave them to his kids. Multiples of Willie Mays rookies, Pete Rose, Clemente, Ryan rookies etc. They are now trying to get them sorted and graded.
Anyway your video got my mind racing! Be good...

8:20 how does someone "pass away halfway through" a marriage?

@@GJLCreativeStudios She had an asthma attack and fell into one of the old fashioned washers and drowned. I guess I should have said “halfway of what the marriage could have been”. I do these unscripted so my grammar is certainly going to take a hit!
