These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
I'd be very curious to see how an older budget pair of earbuds like the taotronics soundliberty 79's would stack up against all these, itd probably be absolutely outdated but it would be neat to see, or even the og airpods next to these

Raycons… the clue is in the name, cons. They’re rebranded $15 Chinese earbuds with massively artificial boosted base to give the illusion of decent sound. Tested by professional sound testing equipment, they’re absolute garbage. There’s an almost endless list of earbuds that massively outperform Raycons at the same price point and way below.

Would you recommend any of the anker soundcores for working out? They seem to have a lot and the difference in price is only like $10-20 on most of their earphones.
I just purchased the Soundcore Sport X10 and I love the fit and sound quality but the controls are very difficult to maneuver and the app is not user friendly. I’m still trying to decide whether to keep or send back. I need the hooks due to small ears. Others I’ve tried without hooks fall out. Any suggestions on comfortable ear buds with ear hooks that have user friendly buttons?
I went from glowingly reviewed high end Sony 1000-xm3 to a pair of Earfun Air budget buds. The £40 Earfuns were better in every single way than the Sony apart from maybe audio quality which was only very slightly lower subjectively. Also the Sony batteries died after a couple years too and now last about 10 minutes per charge. Sony bluetooth was unreliable too, with slow connect and randomly disconnecting for no reason on multiple phones. All this tells me is those 'premium' earbuds are mostly a complete ripoff, fashion accessories like designer brands. For context I know good sound quality - I own a pair of Sennheiser HD650 cans and no consumer wireless earbuds will ever come close to that.
I learned this lesson too, after my Sony XM4 buds crapped it's battery just after the initial year of warranty. Vowed never to buy Sony again, at least in terms of buds.

Hey! I really loved this video🙏 but I'm still not sure what earphones would fit me. For me the sound quality is most important, and after that battery life and comfort. But after watching I'm still not sure what earphones would be good. For me bass is sooo important, I love to listen to bass boosted songs, but I still want that the sound is clear. I used to have Sony wf-1000xm4 earbuds and the sound quality was great (can't use anymore because of battery drainage problem). Do you have any recommendations under 100$? ☺️ Which one of these would be the best, or are there any other good options? Thank you.
Have you considered JBL's Live Pro 2? They weren't under $100 when I made this video but are at the moment. I think they'll offer the bass you're after
Not bad. The thing i'd want to see from soundpeats is some investment into their app experience. It can still be a bit slow, clunky, prone to crashes or long load times, or it simply doesn't support all of their earbuds. It's a quality of life feature that the best earbuds tend to get right, and if they can do that then they will be much easier to recommend
Never by walk headphones they are the worst headphones I have ever Owned the should be called sit because if you move they cut in and out impossible to listen to anything I wouldn't give them away because it would be an insult the only joy I will get from them is when my new pare of headphones come and I can take a hammer to these ones

ANYBODY HELP! I need earbuds at about 50 but no more that 70 bucks. I need them for driving with my bike so it's important for them to not have any windnoises. Also I want a good audio. Pls help me if you know any that would be good for my use. Thx
Had the Sennheiser…..The left has given up after 8 months 🙃 Wish I didn’t buy into the Sennheiser hype that most earbud reviewers had about the CX Plus.
Noise cancelling yes - headphones often perform better with ANC vs earbuds since they completely cover over your ear. Sound quality perhaps not, I think Sennheiser's earbuds sound better, for instance. It's quite a different experience with headphones though
Good question. I think the main reason is just the type of videos I normally make i.e. they don't appear in the earbuds awards because the quality isn't class-leading, and they don't quite make it into videos like this either because there are frankly just better options. They'd perhaps go into something like a 'best budget earbuds under $50', or something like that. Some of the jlab buds aren't bad, they're just budget-friendly and the competition is fierce!
I just got the onplus nord 2 buds and they are amazing. I had jbl buds for €150 and the oneplus buds sound is beter. I am really surprised how good they are. The clear sound with a deep nice bass. If you aare stil looking you should get them.
I think the soundcore space a40 would be quite good for small ears, Jabra’s Elite earbuds are also quite small and may be worth a look. It’s hard to say though because everyone’s ears fit earbuds slightly differently
The cx plus sounds great but the durability is poor I have bought this ear bud and within 2 months the right earbud started to cut in and out like these was a short in it I got a replacement t and it happened again
I'm debating whether I should buy the Huawei FreeBuds 5i or the Soundcore life P3. I want the best sound quality and noise canceling . What would you think? I sometimes go running or gym but I really don't mind readjusting the earbuds. What would you recommend? Thank you for your time and amazing detailed content ❤
i find it surprizing how high people rate the Edifier W240TN, i had that and find it sounds average, not that very good. you rated it even 2nd best amongst all these earphones. I'm currently looking at the Sennheiser CX Plus, do they really sound that great ?
Sound quality is subjective, first of all. But remember that all of these are considered 'budget' earbuds, so you're not going to get the very best quality anyway. I can't promise you that you'll like the sound of the CX Plus, but they definitely have superior sound to the W240TN!
Would it be possible to include if normal size tips are storable in the cases? I have the problem that my inner ear is not really big, but my ear canals are relatively long. So I need either a long nozzle or normal sized tips because TWS tend to have short nozzle and short tips (I bought Jabra Elite 8 Active and couldn't use it because of the case size & the security ring around the nozzle...). Great exception of this are EPZ E200.

@@insidetechltd D: Thanks for the video though dude, very thorough. Like you said, it's nice to see affordable stuff nowadays for people who aren't ballin, and you're helping people financially struggling even more by giving all these details 🙏
Bro im with the Sabbat e12, for some years now close to their release actually, only the right one works 😂😂 How do they compare now??? I totally lost track of the earbud world... Did it changed that much
I think the most obvious improvement is in the feature set - things like ANC, multipoint, fast pair...but you'll likely find the general quality has improved with modern earbuds too
this is such a nice video, so glad I discovered this channel. I have a redmi buds 4 pro and I want to upgrade, do you have any recommendations for an upgrade? Preferably ones that are available over Aliexpress or something like that since I will most likely have to import
@@insidetechltd I'd like wireless charging, some more battery life on the earphones, but the utmost important is the sound quality, I can't afford the best TWS out there but I'd really appreciate better sound quality overall. Thanks for taking some time to reply though :D
Personally, I find that the Earfun Air S have a better sound than the Earfun Air 3, and especially much better microphones in phone call in noisy environments. And I think that currently the best earbuds overall, under $100 are the JBL Live Pro 2.
What are the loudest earbuds? I use one at a time to watch Netflix or listen to podcast at work where it’s really loud. So I need some very loud earbuds or noice canceling that works on single earbud.
I work in a factory that has loud machine sounds and a quiet room that’s for resting so everyone are there. Can you recommend a pair that has the least sound leakage?
From this list I would say Jabra’s Elite earbuds might be a good choice. The ear tip sits quite deep in the ear canal so I think the sound leakage is quite low
@@thejewishsheeran11 I always miss some, sadly. But it's because you're all kind enough to comment so much! I do my best to reply to all that I can - i'm here to help 👊🏼
I’ve used the Soundcore space A40 and ended up breaking one of the earbuds, due to it consistently falling out of my ears. I’ve never had the best of luck with shallow or oval ear tips (AirPods Pro, Space A40, Beats Studio Buds, Samsung Galaxy Buds, etc). Due to this and weighing my options, I went with the CX Plus, as it seems like it might fit my ears the best out of these options. I needed a video like this, especially since my Liberty 3 Pros just gave out on me. Thank you for making this video! It helped a lot!
@@GabrielGonzalez-ej6tp I’d liken them in sound to something like the AKG N400nc or the Samsung Galaxy Buds lineup, albeit, with a bit less definition. I recommend the galaxy buds lineup (even the cheaper non-“pro” version) for sound. However, they are very good for what they are and are generally an overall great pick. I miss the wireless charging, but that’s my only real complaint.
For sound quality alone, it would be right up there with sennheiser, maybe even better with the treble frequencies. The sound is fantastic! The reason they don’t get into the video is 1) the bulky, uncomfortable fit, 2) the mic and ANC quality isn’t great and 3) the app has multiple issues with connectivity, crashing, limited features…the app experience ruins it and can be quite frustrating
@@insidetechltd wow thank you so much! I didn't know about the app experience, I guess I will go with something different. Thank you again for your valuable insight!
Wow ! That’s not a comparaison !!! It’s not even close hahaha az80 sounds way better than all of those earbuds! If you have question, feel free to ask sir. I have over 40 earbuds and 30 headphones over the ears. I tested them all. If you want awesome comparaison between earbuds, go to Ronontech (youtube). He makes video based on two contenders (earbuds). He analyse each earbuds, talks about specs and he gives his final thoughts at the end, on who wins between the two :) honestly, one of the best audio channel. Have a nice day
I just know that I will lose or misplace such small items. So I just go for the best value that works. I’m an expat in Taiwan and found some brilliant earbuds. Instant connection, Bluetooth 5.3. Surround sound, crystal clear, finger touch on earbud for calls and pauses, microphone, USB C quick charging. LED charging display meter. I use them daily in the gym for 2.5 hours. Used for a week, still 78% reserve. Quality shiny black case. Cost ? $8. I bought 4 more pairs after testing successfully. These perform better than the Edifier but almost exactly the same in functionality.
Ok, galaxy buds 2 or the liberty 4nc, my current main have a dying battery for the right side battery so I'm in shopping for a new one, which will you guys suggest?
Can you do a list under 50$?
If enough people want to see it, then of course!

Thanks for the video though dude, very thorough. Like you said, it's nice to see affordable stuff nowadays for people who aren't ballin, and you're helping people financially struggling even more by giving all these details 🙏
Great video thanks
Thank you 🙏🏼
Great review, thanks! Love that you included the table at the end; this is my kind of comparison video ❤️
I’m looking for an earbud with a design that allows you to use one earbud both in the right and left ear. Any recommendations?
I think any of these 🤷♂️
Bro im with the Sabbat e12, for some years now close to their release actually, only the right one works 😂😂
How do they compare now??? I totally lost track of the earbud world... Did it changed that much
I think the most obvious improvement is in the feature set - things like ANC, multipoint, fast pair...but you'll likely find the general quality has improved with modern earbuds too
yes its not cans experience
What about sony c700 ?
Good sound but light on features compared to the ones in this video
why did you not skull candy ?
I just think these models are better 🤷♂️
this is such a nice video, so glad I discovered this channel. I have a redmi buds 4 pro and I want to upgrade, do you have any recommendations for an upgrade? Preferably ones that are available over Aliexpress or something like that since I will most likely have to import
Thank you!
Well it depends on why you want to upgrade. What do you not like about your current earbuds and what do you want to improve?
@@insidetechltd I'd like wireless charging, some more battery life on the earphones, but the utmost important is the sound quality, I can't afford the best TWS out there but I'd really appreciate better sound quality overall.
Thanks for taking some time to reply though :D
Could you compare realme buds air 3 to these?
Sure! I’ll check them out
what do you recommend between the liberty 4 and the Huawei freebuds 5i?
I love the battery life, comfort and sound quality of my Edifier TWS1 Pros, but the connectivity and touch controls are kinda junk.
Inside Tech nice comparison rview. I don't know if you tested the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, they are under $100.
Thanks! No not yet
Love my sennheiser earbuds, also shure and Earfun (after replacement).
Personally, I find that the Earfun Air S have a better sound than the Earfun Air 3, and especially much better microphones in phone call in noisy environments.
And I think that currently the best earbuds overall, under $100 are the JBL Live Pro 2.
jbl live pro 2 are $200 in canada xD
JBL Live Pro 2 is more than 100
@@thomasre9382 Otherwise, I bought several for $99 USD 🤷🏽♂️
@@thomasre9382 As low as 89,00 € in Lithuania right now
What are the loudest earbuds? I use one at a time to watch Netflix or listen to podcast at work where it’s really loud. So I need some very loud earbuds or noice canceling that works on single earbud.
If you want loud...i'd wait until June 29th. I have the perfect solution for you
@@insidetechltd?
@@insidetechltd do reply
I work in a factory that has loud machine sounds and a quiet room that’s for resting so everyone are there. Can you recommend a pair that has the least sound leakage?
From this list I would say Jabra’s Elite earbuds might be a good choice. The ear tip sits quite deep in the ear canal so I think the sound leakage is quite low
Excellent mate. Love how every comment gets a response❤
@@thejewishsheeran11 I always miss some, sadly. But it's because you're all kind enough to comment so much! I do my best to reply to all that I can - i'm here to help 👊🏼
sony known to have best pads & tips
how about realme buds air 5 and sony wf c500?
Sony's earbuds sound good but are too feature-light. Realme's earbuds came after after this video was made - not tested them yet!
It helped a lot!
id assume the cx plus maybe don’t sound as good as the mtw3 but how do they stack up in sound quality vs all the ones you’ve tried?
@@GabrielGonzalez-ej6tp I’d liken them in sound to something like the AKG N400nc or the Samsung Galaxy Buds lineup, albeit, with a bit less definition. I recommend the galaxy buds lineup (even the cheaper non-“pro” version) for sound. However, they are very good for what they are and are generally an overall great pick. I miss the wireless charging, but that’s my only real complaint.
@@TimothyDuran i appreciate the response man thank you !
Thanks for the feedback!
You should have used glue ! LoL
Jlab makes some decent under 100 dollars headphones as well
Do you think that the one plus buds z2 are worth the price?
yes, competition will drop price though
Hi, how does the SoundPeats Opera 05 compare to these?
For sound quality alone, it would be right up there with sennheiser, maybe even better with the treble frequencies. The sound is fantastic!
The reason they don’t get into the video is 1) the bulky, uncomfortable fit, 2) the mic and ANC quality isn’t great and 3) the app has multiple issues with connectivity, crashing, limited features…the app experience ruins it and can be quite frustrating
@@insidetechltd wow thank you so much! I didn't know about the app experience, I guess I will go with something different. Thank you again for your valuable insight!
where do you recomend i buy the huawei freebud 5i from? EX:Amazon,Aliexpress,Ebay
I would go for Amazon personally, you get really good security with your purchase and support afterwards
How is it 3 months later and the pricing is *already* $20 over $100? Title needs to be updated!
Prices change all the time, they go up and down 🤷♂️
How would you rank the technics az80 to the best of the best?
It's funny you ask, I made my thoughts very clear in a video last week! ua-cam.com/video/98NH9F-SRaE/v-deo.html
Have a nice day
多謝!
Thank you so much! 🙌🏼
These perform better than the Edifier but almost exactly the same in functionality.
what earbuds are those? possible to share the brand or models ?
Have you actually tested these JBL Live Pro 2? Just curious. Thx
Yes…how else would I have been able to tell you that soundcore’s Liberty 4 NC still beat them overall? 🤷♂️
Do you have any experience with the PHILIPS TAT5506? :) Thank you for the nice video!
No I don't i'm afraid, sorry!
which one was loudest in volume with heavy bass?
Nord Buds 2
I take it that Amazon's Echo Buds Gen2 (2021) never made the cut?
No - there's no big incentive to get echo buds (even as an Alexa fan) with the rest of the competition being this strong
J lab 25 best budget buds
My left one of sounds peat mini pro got off 😢 I am lost 😢
Ok, galaxy buds 2 or the liberty 4nc, my current main have a dying battery for the right side battery so I'm in shopping for a new one, which will you guys suggest?
I think the Liberty 4 NC will be the best ones 👍🏼
That crazy this was posted as i was wondering what earbuds i should buy thx!!!!
Haha, nice!
how is soundcore liberty 4 NC?
