By popular request many of you wanted to see the makeup I wore in the injectable lip film, so here it is. This is my work day makeup, something that I would quicky do before I go to work. I don't tend to pay much attention to my own makeup I just want to look presentable and have a simple no makeup makeup look. The makeup I've chosen will not cover my imperfections or pigmentation but I don't want it to. I want to look like me but a little bit better.

Greetings from snowy New Jersey this morning. Your look today was so “spot on “ for me. I work part-time in an office and we have to wear a mask for now. I lately have been keeping my makeup minimal and have been doing a one and done shadow with no eyeliner. I am still searching for the right mascara for my short lashes. Thank you again.

Tip for everyone: Put your eyelash/eyebrow-serum next to your toothbrush! This way you will see it everyday and it gets a habit to use the serum after brushing your teeth 😁.

Lately I’m loving a bright lip and no eye make up apart from a light coat of mascara, because if I’m feeling tired of have eye bags it take the emphasis away from them and also because I can’t be bothered 😂🤦♀️ great upload Caroline, the finished look is so pretty😍

Hi Caroline. Happy belated birthday! I got microblading two years ago for my 60th birthday. I was thrilled with the results as I have always had very sparse, light nonexistent brows. The issue I had was that the color didn't hold so I had to go back more often than recommended for a color retouch. You are supposed to go only once a year, but I was having to go in every six months or sooner. When I went back in 2021, the technician did powder brows and I have had great luck with them holding the color. As you mentioned, the powder application looks softer and more natural than regular microblading and my brows have retained their full color. A few things to know are that your brows will look very dark for about 2 weeks after you have them done, but they quickly fade to the intended color. With the powder brows, you don't have as much scabbing or flaking. Also, be very careful when applying your skincare products as some serums such as hyaluronic acid can cause discoloration for some people. The same goes for any cleansers that have HLA, etc., in them. I am in the habit now of always wiping my brows with a clean damp cloth every time I clean my face or apply any skincare product that is near my eye area. I always watch your videos every Saturday on YT TV, so I don't often get the chance to comment. Loved your mum! Anyway, I think you will be very happy with your new brows if you choose to get them done. You will save so much time and money you'd spend on brow products. Any chance you could ever get Nigella to be a guest on your show? :)

Looks lovely. Love that blush. I have such an issue with getting mascara on my lid along the lash line. I used to be able to put my makeup on in the car. But now I need a 10x and a cotton swab! I’m sure my eyelids being more droopy has a lot to do with it. When you do your round up of mascara can you talk about applying it neatly. Thanks so much.

Super video as always Caroline. Some excellent budget products which is always handy. I've got the tinted moisturiser from before, but have just ordered the mascara - it looks terrific. On LF you can also buy a travel size which is handy for trips to the gym before work/holidays xx 👀👄

Great easy everyday look. I'm getting more into the no makeup makeup look its soft, easy and flattering. I think no makeup makeup will be a big this year I'm no expert but seeing it a lot on socials recently.

Oh gosh no I wish I could be completely bleach blonde but my hair can’t take it 😂
always mix one drop of black brow tint with two drops of ash brown/natural brown if you are blonde - takes away the red tinge. Just half the developing time. I am ash blonde and it works well

Oh yes please do the mascara video hopefully you'll have some drugstore priced ones in there 🤞. My biggest bugbear with them is flaking but the tubing mascaras I've tried don't give my exceptionally spindly lashes enough volume. Thank you x

Hi Caroline! I love this look, its just perfect for every day. Its fresh and makes you look put together but without all the faffing about. I bought that iT cosmetics mascara on your recommendation but have yet to try it as need to finish up my Clarins one which Im presently using. Ive never tried the Max Factor eye shadow you used but that is going to change pronto lol. I love the Max Factor lip liners also! Have a great week ahead. Take care and stay safe xx

Lovely look, Caroline. With the brow & lash serums, I chuck them on in the morning if I forget to do them at night and that seems to work out fine. I’m currently working my way through my mascaras to get them used up. I do like the IT Cosmetics Superhero one, but I think I am going to give the Hourglass one or the new Kjaer Weiss one a try once I’m ready to buy a new one x
This is so nice. I’ve been preparing for an exam for a year (sat it yesterday, I’m crossing all my fingers) and just so I don’t lose the habit I’ve been doing my hair putting on my jewellery and my makeup daily, but because I don’t leave the house I’ve been… out there with the makeup and while I love it sometimes it makes me forget how amazing soft tonal looks are too.
Please picture me in fluffy pyjamas with all my ear piercings, rings, a fancy braid and a glittery smoky eye cramming with my cat in my lap on a Tuesday morning, apparently I’m my mum’s colleagues new idol lol.
And btw, thank you for acknowledging that not all lashes are equal, I’m the pickiest with mascaras so every time someone says a mascara is the best my reaction is “is it though”?

If you aren’t going out for the evening, you may like to try doing your evening skincare at the end of the day / before dinner. I have been doing this for years after reading that J Lo does this. I do everything between cleansing through serums (including the rapid brow and Sweed lash serum) so the serum has time to absorb. At bedtime, I use eye cream, face cream, oil and lip balm. I find my skin is better for it as well as my husband 😉

Can I ask, do you tint y eyebrows? Mine are scraggly due to changes in colour and thickness and take more sorting than yours. Also does your consealer last over the day and does it fall into any lines as it seems to cover well. Thanks

Do you ever exfoliate? If not it could be dead skin cells needing to be exfoliated I got that tip from a Clinique counter years ago 🙃

Why when you put a very light concealer under your eyes you look great, but when I do that it goes ashy and gray?
Is your skin warmer tones than mine? You might need to opt for a more yellow based concealer but one that is still
