From Seinfeld Season 6 Episode 17 'The Kiss Hello': Kramer tries to create a Utopian society when he puts up pictures of all the residents of his and Jerry's building. Jerry doesn't mind until the women of the building want to be greeted with a kiss. After Jerry objects to kissing hello, he's vilified and nearly kicked out of the building. Jerry also has to settle some family issues when Nana remembers that Uncle Leo was supposed to give Jerry's mom some money 50 years ago, and Uncle Leo puts Nana in a home to keep her quiet. Meanwhile, Elaine's friend, who is a physical therapist, skips out on George.

Michael Richards is amazing when he goes to take her picture....he makes it look like it really happened, not like an actor doing a gag intentionally, the flash going off accidentally in his eyes is done so smoothly

That woman was NO friend to Elaine. Made her walk 3 blocks with SKI equipment. Even if she were just carrying heavy bags a FRIEND drops you off at or near your door, at least 1 block away. That was really trifling

That was going to be the deal breaker and end the friendship even if the 'friend' hadn't wanted to charge her for treating the resulting injury. I love the classic Seinfeld deal breaker moments. Jerry's get dragged out longer when it's a girlfriend. Remember 'man hands?'

The end there feels like one of the few times George and Elaine were on the same page and got along
Elaine: "You might want to something about that hair?" Wendy: Why, what's wrong with my hair?" Elaine: "I think that it's a little 'old fashion', don't you?" Elaine's deliver on all those lines are coupled with perfect facial expressions. Comedy at its BEST!

I'm surprised Elaine has her own ski gear. How often did she go skiing?
Her father in the show was a famous author so odds are she grew up in money and probably actually went/goes skiing quite often. The show is mainly about what happens when the four of them hang out and sometimes we forget they have a life and friends outside of the four of them who they probably do much different things with them then when the four of them hang out together.

It's not a show about nothing, it's a show about navigating a world of trivial yet somehow still fraught social situations, wherein either the main characters are the ones transgressing (George asks about his arm, Kramer being weird enough to be relied on to break social rules and tell a person her hair is weird), or their temporary friends are (old lady hair, dropping her friend off three blocks early). I think this is in fact the show that introduced the phrase "fauxe pas" into my vocabulary.

Julia Louis Dreyfus is the first to cringe at her past hair, but I like it, probably because her hair is a quick way to tell what season it is. The more modern her hair got, the worse the show started to get because Larry David left.
