I met a girl once who wore the same outfit every day because it was part of her minimalist lifestyle. She had maybe 5-7 pairs of the same pants and shirt. Even wore the same hat. Very interesting.

I understand being minimalist, but wouldn’t that mean she just had a few outfits? Having 5-7 outfits, but all being the exact same, identical items- it’s a different thing. Maybe she didn’t like change?

That would just make her want to continue to wear it still longer-especially considering that she was repeatedly wearing it in the first place only because she sensed it pleased him. Since he was manifestly slow to grasp this, however, he merely needed to continue to date her. Eventually the truth would emerge-in a form that even he could understand.

She has more than one. I've done this, when I find something I look absurdly good in. What I can't understand is why she immediately recycles the same look to the same people. That is the mystery.
My theory is she recently lost a significant amount of weight, has a bit more to lose and just hasn't really built a new wardrobe yet. I'm going through this myself right now and thought of this episode when I put on the same top twice in one week.

My mom and I used to love to watch Seinfeld together before her passing. This was her favorite episode.
An ex-coworker of mine told me that his ex-coworker used to wear the same pants and shirt every day to this job. But it wasn't the *exact* same shirt and pants, it was the same *outfit*; this guy had several copies of those shirts and pants. He did that so he never had to decide what to wear each day. I, on the other hand, used to dress in whatever shirt and pants were on top of the pile, in the dark, so *I* never had to decide what to wear each day. Same problem, different solutions! :)

While funny, it’s also what led to Jerry’s relationships always failing. He expects every girl he dates to be unrealistically perfect and when he finds one tiny little flaw with them, he dumps them.

Typing this way is called Title Case, and it is pretty rude. First, it decreases legibility for everyone. Second, it lowers reading speed for your readers, since everything looks like the start of a sentence or an important name or place, and this negates the possibility of scanning. There’s a deleted scene at end where Jerry, George, Susan, and her cousins are at the park meeting baby Seven (which they stole from George, I’m just gonna say it) and Jerry actually notices Kirsty and chases after her asking what she’s wearing.

Once I had a great outfit on and went on a date. The guy complimented me. The next week we went out again, I wore the same thing! He looked at me funny and asked why I was wearing the same thing. [It was a week later, and it was washed]
I do this at work too. I've even tried wearing the same thing for a whole week! (people don't see me twice normally and I'm super clean)
So, why do I do this? Can I help solve the mystery?
My reason is it is expensive and challenging to find and buy so many different outfits that I look great in.

I'm like that, too -- but I actually bought several copies of a dress I like. And by several, I mean around 15. I rotate about 5 and packed away the rest so I never run out. I warned my friends that I'm not wearing the exact same dress but an exact copy of the same dress. To me, it's a costume or uniform.
