  • Maggie Mine Road North of Phoenix Arizona is an easy 5 mile trail for our Jeep Rubicon but not when we off-roaded it. When we came around a corner early on we saw a car lying in a ditch blocking half of the narrow shelf road. We decided not to turn back and to proceed on although our Rubicon was forced within inches of the very edge of the road, and right next to a steep and dangerous drop-off. Fran spotted while I drove and we were able to slowly and carefully avoid tumbling down into the abyss. The road is absolutely gorgeous and we tried to capture the beauty with both drone and 360 video footage. Maggie Mine Road is a great beginners off-road trail and we were awed by the gorgeous sweeping vista views. Caution is advised because there is erosion in spots and you may be bothered a bit if you have a fear of heights. Airing down is highly recommended. Quick question: Did you report the vehicle plate number and location (gps cords) to the local authorities? We've come upon vehicles that were stolen and taken for a joy ride off road.

Possibly. Another possibility is that someone was trying to bypass about 5 miles of traffic and construction on I17. Fortunately, the driver ended up in the ditch as opposed to going over the drop off. If u liked the video pls consider subscribing to see our ongoing adventures. Thx and have a gr8 day!
