This is beautiful beautiful art right here. 40 voices all in unity. I can't say enough good things about the song I Love the song I sing it in church all the time. Every time I hear the song i get inspired to be a better person each day and be the person thst god wants me to be. Thank you guys and girls for this beautiful beautiful song.
This song is soooo beautiful! What a wonderful performance! Such beautiful voices! I wish you all can perform at our church: Salem UCC in Doylestown, PA. ❤🎉 Thank you so much for making my day!
Finding this UA-cam channel made my day! This song is one of my favorites and now even more with this rendition by St. Paul Young Adult Choir & Ensemble (Virtual Choir!)! We are called to serve one another, to walk humbly with God!
Haas's melody is very John/Taupin-esque (think "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues"). The lyrics are as solid as a Diane Warren or Billy Steinberg/Tom Kelly composition. George Michael's '91 gospel version of One More Try at the Prince's Trust Gala sounds like this too.
Come, live in the light Shine with the joy and the love of the Lord We are called to be light for the kingdom To live in the freedom of the city of God We are called to act with justice We are called to love tenderly We are called to serve one another To walk humbly with God Come, open your heart Show your mercy to all those in fear We are called to be hope for the hopeless So all hatred and blindness will be no more We are called to act with justice We are called to love tenderly We are called to serve one another To walk humbly with God Sing, sing a new song Sing of that great day when all will be one God will reign and we'll walk with each other As sisters and brothers united in love (united in love) We are called to act with justice We are called to love tenderly We are called to serve one another To walk humbly with God We are called to act with justice We are called to love tenderly (We are called) We are called to serve one another To walk humbly with God And Bobby Fisher! Thank you!
This is a very beautiful song and I have literally listened to it a hundred times. I am planning for my choir to sing this on our church anniversary. Is there a possibility to avail for the choir sheet?
I know of another famous song writer who was after the heart of God. In fact it was from his bloodline that our messiah Jesus Christ was born. This man’s songs were used by God to teach about the boundless love, mercy, peace, glory and power of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This flawed human being, albeit a king, fell into sexual temptation, fornication, and murder. Yet, how great and merciful is our Lord who forgave him and saved him by his faith in the redemption and glory of our Lord the soon and coming king Jesus Christ! This man who God used to glorify his own holy name, this man who God so mercifully forgave, this man who God promised to save was none other than David, King of Israel, the writer of most of the psalms contained in God’s Holy Word. It is a lesson that none of us, not you, not me, not even David Haas are beyond God’s wonderful mercy, and plans for the Church and the world. God bless you all!
Nicely played and sung. There’s just a lot going on. Not sure if this is an original arrangement but the instruments and voices are competing in dynamics. It sounds like everyone is trying to sing and play over each other, which takes away from how great the talent is. Everyone is definitely having a lot of fun - which is great, but have them back off a bit. Also, there are so many moving instrument parts at once that it gets messy. Balance and some variation in dynamics are the key. Keep up the good work!
Not sure that inspired efforts should be removed because the human author took a really bad turn. The Bible also tells of many people who let themselves be led astray, yet God often managed to use them
Whether you like it's music or not we should forgive his wrongdoings and help support his music. he deserves forgiveness and peace just like you and everyone else in this world.

I wish the whole world will sing together this song .
One day brother, one day.
while there are still places that use David Haas' music, it's not as common as it once was, mainly due to allegations of abuse against David Haas.
isn't that globalism
This is just sooooo amazing! And very uplifting. Many thanks for all the excellent efforts that were combined here❤

Thank you so much for making my day!
Killer drum fill/turnaround at 2:40. It would do the late Jeff Porcaro (Toto drummer) proud!
Our choir used to sing this song. Thanks Sally

that a cappella section really lets you appreciate just how beautiful these voices are.
Incredible talent!
I'm amazed at how well it worked in a virtual setting

Come, live in the light
Shine with the joy and the love of the Lord
We are called to be light for the kingdom
To live in the freedom of the city of God
We are called to act with justice
We are called to love tenderly
We are called to serve one another
To walk humbly with God
Come, open your heart
Show your mercy to all those in fear
We are called to be hope for the hopeless
So all hatred and blindness will be no more
We are called to act with justice
We are called to love tenderly
We are called to serve one another
To walk humbly with God
Sing, sing a new song
Sing of that great day when all will be one
God will reign and we'll walk with each other
As sisters and brothers united in love (united in love)
We are called to act with justice
We are called to love tenderly
We are called to serve one another
To walk humbly with God
We are called to act with justice
We are called to love tenderly (We are called)
We are called to serve one another
To walk humbly with God
And Bobby Fisher!
Thank you!

@Reinhardt Kozlowski maybe I’m this arrangement. I appreciate a good drum set.
Shame that this talented composer made such poor and harmful choices.
This should be taken down.
Beautiful! Just a little too fast incredible song.
Please google and read the David Haas Into Account report before you sing his music. His music shouldn't even be online anymore.
The man who wrote the song may have done terrible. But the message of the song is a great message, and is about what God wants!
Not sure that inspired efforts should be removed because the human author took a really bad turn. The Bible also tells of many people who let themselves be led astray, yet God often managed to use them
Even if that is true, his music is beautiful. We need to forgive his wrongdoings and be kind. That's what God wants us to do everyday. Am I wrong?
Whether you like it's music or not we should forgive his wrongdoings and help support his music. he deserves forgiveness and peace just like you and everyone else in this world.
