I love the fake review of this "unreleased" game :D "The soundtrack lacks that catchy, adrenaline-pumping quality that would truly elevate the game's intensity." Mitch totally nails the spirit and instrumentation typical of Sega racing games from the 1990s.
Such fresh sounds. This was the sound of modernity in the 90's. It still sounds modern to me. It's very dynamic music, always showing you new things and places. "Where do you want to go today?"
God I loved this game when I was kid, I could never get past the part where Takeshi betrayed the team and you had to nail that double-stack stop in the wet. I wish I still had it
btw.. I love the idea of Pit stop hero as a game :D it sounds like a Sega Arcade game for sure. I wish we got more variety in games now, and just not open world games without any story telling. Its what killed gaming for me... back in these days you also had a lot of fun platformers.
One thing i noticed on the comments, nobody ever seems to ask production techniques. Like how he gets his bass sounding like this, especially if its all done within renoise. I wish i knew the answers.
You somehow found a way to breathe new life into a genre that's been used in 90s-2000s video games from Japan and make it as crazy and as interesting as it can possibly get. I don't know how you did it, but you did and it sounds amazing!!!
Kinda love it when something like this feels so authentic that it makes me doubt if a game I've never heard about is actually some forgotten gem or just fictitious XD
this is legendary i will be bumping this on my bicycle in town this week edit: i dont know if this is an "i had a saturn growing up when i rode bikes" joke or a cry for help
Nice album and cool concept. Funnily enough, there is a JP-only game on the Saturn called Tactics Formula which shared some features with the imaginary game as described in the SSM article.
Was playing a lot of old Sega Games recently (Megadrive, Arcade, Saturn). Your music perfectly fits in that area of nostalgia. Would have loved to get another 2D sprite scaling Outrun with a Mitch Murder soundtrack. Only other producer coming close is "A M 4 N". Check him out Mitch. You will definetly like his music.
Been asking myself that for years. I messaged him once, told me it was FM bass either with dexed or Something else..I can't remember which.. but I'm still trying to understand how it's achieved with that synth. It puzzles me, I can't get anywhere near it 😂
1. How do you get better every time? 2. Select Course reminds me a little of Rush Hour and Special Moment (Cobra Space Adventure) 3. Does this video game exist?
Nothing against his last few releases, but this one is like a hit of the good shit. Feel like i just got a fix.
Head Office definitely reminds me of Salary Man Simulator 1. Smooth
Yes, absolutely could've been an out take. Salary Man is so good...
NEW MITCH MURDER YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
"select your mechanic!.... Mitch Murder!" haha love it
As someone who grew up with OC Remix, I love hearing video games covers, especially when they come from Mitch Murder.
Except this is a fictional game with original music made by MM made to sound like a game that could've been.
Hah, riggles is right. I can't find any game named this.
@@riggles Any game designers out there wanna make it happen? 😂
Haha! Nope, it certainly sounds and feels like a real OST , that's why MM is the GOAT
I grew up with OC Remix too and I love this type of music as well! But yeah, this is a fake game OST. Vaperware.
This is so real that I've spent almost an hour looking for traces of the released game ♥
I would always choose Mitch Murder as my Mechanic. Thanks for the new tunes! 🔥
Same
Immediatly had to think about Super Hang On with that title.
(Mitch Murder did a banger cover of one of its tracks btw.: Outride a Crisis)
@uhu4677 also one of my favorite tracks off of Selection 2.
I love the fake review of this "unreleased" game :D

When you’re on the ‘Continue’ screen, but you don’t want to press the button because the music is just too damn good…! 👊🏻❤️

If you liked the OST, I recommend playing the actual game on emulator
What the flippin heck are you talking about
@@Animal_lives_matter bro got immersed so hard they manifested the ISO
It's the old Mitch!
AYO NEW MITCH ALBUM DROP?!?
God I loved this game when I was kid, I could never get past the part where Takeshi betrayed the team and you had to nail that double-stack stop in the wet. I wish I still had it
90s sega games soundtracks went so hard.
Personal favorites are X-Men 2 clone wars, zero wing, Earthworm Jim and Jurassic Park Rampage.
I like the lady harmonizing in "In the Pit" cuz it reminds me of one of the songs from "Wipeout" (1995).
Classic Mitch Murder. I couldn't ask for more.
Just in time for the summer.

Daytooooonaaaaaa
65% speed was great for the first track... then Select Mechanic at 65% and I'm like duuuuude. My man.
Man I wish I could play Pit Stop Hero.. If even just once..
One thing i noticed on the comments, nobody ever seems to ask production techniques. Like how he gets his bass sounding like this, especially if its all done within renoise. I wish i knew the answers.
People gave up on it. It's top secret.
How is that I never heard of this game!!?? Gonna play it for sure!
It's a made up game 😊
Daytona USA, OutRun, RidgeRacer and RageRacer, Cruisin USA, and don’t forget road rash was a personal favorite when I was a kid.

Amazing album ❤
You really nailed it with this one MM! ❤the sega aesthetic is pure gold 🫵
I need a 24 hour loop of Head Office. You're the man, Mitch.
Yes.
Feels like a spiritual companion to Salary Man
Yeah it's perfect. My mood shot up the second it started.
Kinda love it when something like this feels so authentic that it makes me doubt if a game I've never heard about is actually some forgotten gem or just fictitious XD
Another killer set of tracks, my dude. Select Mechanic gives me huge Mario Kart 64 menu theme vibes (and chills). Keep it up! Go Go Go Go!!
Yes! New Mitch Murder jams. Love it!
This is top tier MM. Right up there with the legendary Salary Man soundtracks 💯
Yes, thank you!!
Friggin genius!!
YUUUUS! ANOTHER ONE! Mitch Murder you are one of my ATF artists. Great cover!! Truly excited to hear your future stuff.❤
I love the gran turismo vibes this album has
this is legendary i will be bumping this on my bicycle in town this week
edit: i dont know if this is an "i had a saturn growing up when i rode bikes" joke or a cry for help
I love this kind of music!. FM basses, and Orchestrahits.. what is more to say? great music
Amazing. Feel like I just went on a journey back in time after listening from start to finish ❤
Nice album and cool concept. Funnily enough, there is a JP-only game on the Saturn called Tactics Formula which shared some features with the imaginary game as described in the SSM article.
ugh..... LOVE Sega Saturn. and MM of course. This is boss

Cool
I love it !
this is so good, man
Haha nice. The presentation deserves praise on its own
Beautifully done.
Brings me back to the old days, Head Office gives me some Theme Hospital vibes with the phones ringing in the background
Lovely work, Mitch.
💚
Keep dropping them Mitch. I’ll keep listening along with many others!
Till the end of times !
I'm gonna be listening to this A LOT
What is this magical madness hot drop?!?! 😱 ❤️
OMG. I freakin love the retro game OST sounds from Mitch!! Takes me back to the days 😊🎮

Good build
The front cover has a colour palette I've seen somewhere before...
Yes. 🔥
Espectacular!
Listening while playing Forza
Is there nothing that sounds better than MIDI?!
I wanna go far away!
I like " In the pit"
listened to this several times already...so vinyl EP when? (although a CD release would probably make more sense in this case)
What are you using for that sexy slap bass on these tracks? I'm obsessed 🤷🏻♂
Been asking myself that for years. I messaged him once, told me it was FM bass either with dexed or Something else..I can't remember which.. but I'm still trying to understand how it's achieved with that synth. It puzzles me, I can't get anywhere near it 😂
@@erynfauulkner4786 It's so 90's it hurts me 😆
I really enjoy Mitch's videogame-y OST tunes, and this one is no exception 👍 Thanks for sharing more of your music-crafting skills with all of us!
1. How do you get better every time?
2. Select Course reminds me a little of Rush Hour and Special Moment (Cobra Space Adventure)
3. Does this video game exist?
Someone needs to do the game
How is this bass made?? Is it a mix of different basses out together or what.. it's keeping me awake at night 😢😂
Please you need to make a remix of some of the songs from the Jaguar xj220 game for the Amiga computer!
RACING
Great!
