Absolute terrific review! Finally! Someone who was actually driving a vehicle that does not have every damn bell and whistle Hyundai offers: "Turbo-Hybrid-Ultimate-Limited!" No, there are many more of us out here who can NOT afford $43,000+ for a small SUV that is fully loaded with every technology the manufacture has! That is what a ton of car reviewer channels do. In this case, a more "reasonable" SEL Convenience test drive! In this case, some of us can probably swing $34,000 for the inline-4 cylinder with moderate bells and whistles compared to the former. So, thank you for this, and we really enjoyed your reaction to truly quickly accelerating without putting in danger on the road like some of the other channels I have seen as well! Huge thumbs up, and if got yourself a new subscriber!🤘
Heads up the Tucson is great, the 2.5NA engine is a complete dog... get the Hybrid, it's well worth the very minor upcharge that you'll get back in gas savings. A much stronger engine!
Great review. Thank you. Your Tucson inventory is a mix of FWD and AWD. Here in New Jersey, it's very rare to find a FWD. Hope to find a new 2025 FWD in Maryland as I did in 2022.
Actually if the doors are locked you stand at the rear and it will beep a few times and the lift gate will open automatically. That's how the smart open feature works on these. As long as you have the key fob on you.
As an owner, I find that feature annoying... half the time it opens just as you're going around the car to the door and you don't want it to open... I always turn it off... I mean the key keyfob isn't hard to use to open the trunk!
@@wolfshanze5980Yea, I do agree with you on that. It's like I have to make a mad dash around the rear of the vehicle before it beeps the third time and starts to open.
@@GLSmith1013 That feature is also a disaster if you have something on the back of the vehicle... I used to keep a tow-hitch bike rack on the back of my Tucson, and if that feature was activated with a bike rack in back... NOPE... thankfully it's easy to turn off... the Keyfob is just fine! I do love my Tucson Hybrid though... best damn vehicle i've ever owned (and I've owned a lot since the 1980s).
Someone left an I-Pad on the dashboard.... Glad I went with a 2024. It's packed with options at a great price even mid-level trim. This interior is lazy and cost-cutting which was inevitable after the 24's. I see what you did, Hyundai

Great review & I will buy this vehicle one day.
Thanks for the review. This is the model I would purchase. I look at it for when the time comes...if I can swing it!

Even the AWD is basically FWD. It Only uses it under 20 MPH then as needed, unless you choose to keep it on full time with the toggle button.
