The credit card argument seems very specific for your case - not many people want to fly a lot and pay for it using credit card perks. Of course there are potential other perks using credit cards as well, but being on top of your spending and being disciplined is one of the biggest issues many people have in the first place, so simply saying "be disciplined" is not really helping in my opinion :D.
Also, credit card is a very common payment option in the US, but other countries may have other customs. And speaking about different "customs": the return percentage regarding a savings account here in EU has been basically zero for a long time by now, like literally in the 0.x % area. 3-4 % were possible 25 years ago, but nowadays, no chance.

Great video, Marina! Some points are quite contradictory to what other financial bloggers advise, but I totally agree with the point about investing in yourself. And also about enjoying the money and spending them on things/experiences that will make us truly happy. Memories are also our assets (as discussed in the book Die With Zero), and we will never get the time back.

People who knows how to spend are wealthiest one. Poor people spend on things that becomes useless quickly.
Recently I had a very strange experience: being inspired by you, Marina, I bought a really cool course about investment, but right after that I met a person who turned my world upside down regarding savings. I realized that all you need is the amount of money that will cover your costs for 3 (-6) months so you don't have to worry. And the rest of the free money should be spent on travel and the fulfillment of your desires and dreams, 'cause when you do that you fill yourself up with energy, that you use to achieve even bigger goals, and you'll make even more money!
So, I didn't take a single lesson from this course!😅😜 And don't regret it at all🤷🏻♂️🌞💃
