Finally the Han Solo we have all been wanting!! The face sculpt is fantastic. I got the SDCC exclusive so I won't be getting this one, but absolutely love this figure! Even the chin scar is present. Love all the little details in this figure. Great vid Mike, keep them coming :)
i don't understand everyone blowing their load onto han solo's face. that face looks like it's got the mumps. because of that, i have to pass. it's not movie accurate for solo to have the mumps. and his penis is a little small. han solo had a miraculous penis. details, people.
Mike! I love this figure. The con exclusive one also came with a pointing finger and his space wrench. I immediately switched mine to have the pointing finger. I also put the mask on my hoth leia. She's gotta have the bane look.
My awesome girlfriend got me the SDCC Han Solo for my b-day. I thought about getting the single carded one. But at the same time, I don’t want to keep rebuying the same figures. I love this figure...it’s great! I ❤️ my girlfriend, too! 😍

In my experience the dumbbell neck doesn't allow for better range of movement. I don't know why everyone keeps saying that it does, because it doesn't. Out of all the newer Black Series figures I've gotten none of them can look up. They look down okay, but up not at all. I don't give a crap about being able to slightly tilt the head from side to side (it's not like it added much anyway) I just want the figures to be able to look up and down.
That’s a fair assessment. The head waggle adds an element of personality of realism to a pose instead of just a straight up and down. Cocking a head to the side can sometimes be just the right thing to give some personality to a pose. But you’re not wrong.
Great review Mike, my favorite black series Han for sure, what are your thoughts on the new photos of General Grevious (the cape difference 😑) and the price of $30...btw got my ship notice for the first archive wave today and since I don't own the first issues it made my day!
Well, I was gonna call it quits after the Mafex Fett & that Hasbro retro carded Vader.....then got the Walmart exclusive Jedi Luke. Then the re-release Yoda and the Figuarts Chewie. Now I had to have me a Han, so just ordered this original one with the more weathered belt. Definitely one of _the_ best likenesses for Harrison "impossibly to capture in figure form" Ford. That half pissed/half amused face is perfect.

I don’t agree with the half point for accesories, all we need form han is his blaster, anything else is bonus. I mean, I think that for the steller face and the great articulation for just 22 bucks is just out of this world. Of course price will go up, so let’s rejoice while we can
i see where you're coming from, but i feel like this Han has some specific accessories he really should have come with to help play out scenes. Like all the accessories the SDCC version came with. The mask. The hydrospanner. The pointing hand.
I have two of these. I bought one and I got one for Christmas. I was going to return one and then I put them side by side and I notice that the face sculpt was dramatically different. Has anyone else noticed this? Is their a variant? Is this the beginning of the apocalypse? Is apocalypse a proper noun? Should I capitalize it or not?
Wondering if some of my spare Marvel Legends hands will fit this. You'd think so, since they're the same company and scale. Too bad I don't have a relaxed hand, so I'll have to go with an Iron Fist kung fu chopping hand. Now that I think about it, Hasbro doesn't even make relaxed hands for Legends. Every character either has a left fist, or that *_I have the power!_* left hand. I mean, sometimes superheroes or villains aren't always in "on" mode.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I actually really liked how the Force Awakens figure looked. The detail on that jacket was terrific and the face sculpt was pretty good. The only real drawback for me was the eyes weren't *quite* as nice as the ones they're doing now. This one is nice, but the lack of accessories kind of bugs me. I don't know if it's worth an update for me unless I find it a bit cheaper eventually. It's nice that the sculpting and paint jobs are improving, but I still wish the accessories for many would be improved because a single blaster really makes it hard to justify the price tag. But oh well...hardcore collectors will just be happy to get one that looks like a young Harrison Ford and it's better than wasting time on a useless character nobody likes too much. At least you're willing to admit a bit of bias since it does resemble Ford quite a bit.
@@MikeKaess Update: I was just at Walmart and they had 1 Bespin Solo which I picked up. Originally I wasn't going to get this figure, but the face REALLY looks better in person. The original one didn't seem worthy of an update, but actually seeing the eyes (and eyebrows)...the quality is much, much better now. The gun holster belt also seems to have a bit better paint application. Looks like actual leather compared to the original that was like....a blob of lighter paint on top of darker brown. This one is much much better and I wouldn't even have given it a second thought except your review made me think it over and it was the right choice. So thanks.
The face on the 40th Han isn’t great. But it’s a classic figure. And comes with more accessories. I would probably get that one if I had to choose one.
No mention of the fact that the jacket part around the shoulders sticks up to high, making him look like he's hunched forward instead of standing up straight... A silly look for a heroic character. 2:356:43 ..It's almost like he wears a life-vest 07:55

The face on this figure is great. Unfortunately...the way the white shirt is layered to get the ab crunch effect makes the Han look like he has a gut on him, which I cannot stop thinking about when I look at my displayed figure. The first Black Series 6 inch Han has a superior body sculpt including the holster leg strap which is a separate piece instead of affixed to the leg like the Bespin figure has. Too bad the face on that version is a complete mess.

Found this guy at walmart and picked him up. I think he's a great figure because the likeness to Harrison Ford is there.

i've bought 3 of these because they rang up for $2.96 at target. I haven't noticed any difference in face sculpt on the ones i got.

Yeah I think the eyes is one of the things that I didn’t notice were really bad until we got the face printing.

I want a Deluxe Han in Carbonite. They made one in 3.75. why not 6 inch? I would pay $30 for that.

The ball socket is a different size, so it would take some work. The newer Han has that new double ball joint.
