The fact that you were constantly changing your speed, trying to stay off the road and avoid any "Imperial entanglements",that's very inefficient. Maintaining a relatively constant speed is the most effective method. I've been riding a Yamaha ebike with an extra battery and charger, hacked so I can get up to 30mph. The wind is my biggest determination of my range. I believe that I will be buying one of these in a few years, looks like fun and I'm getting old. My name is Bicycle Bob and I approved this message.
@syncwasd8315 I haven't got that far yet, but I will eventually post one of my long distance Bicycle-hitchhiking trips I love to do. Thanks for your interest.
Good question I’m not 100 percent sure would have to try it out! But I would assume if it’s in sports mode it might get little less miles just because it could accelerate faster, but i think they would be pretty smiler in sports or eco going 20 mph
Doesn't matter, those settings are about power level and throttle response, so if you arn't moving the throttle and just going constant speed, it doesn't matter.
@@brianmccann666 do you know if the 70+ mile range at 10mph was at a certain temperature to? I tired the 10mph range test and weirdly got less miles then my 20mph range test but was colder when I did the 10mph test
get a rear view mirror video screen/camera ps. Ive road a gas powered scooter for most my life and i tell you this looks even better in ways that you can jump up on sidewalks and go right around traffic, even take it down the river where they tell you no engines and go fishing or something, good stuff! Keep-um comin!
I’ll have to look into that, that would be cool! Gas powered scooter are a lot fun fs what kind of scooter do you have? but I agree not having a engine is awesome to😂you could take it down fishing because no engine and it’s just considered a electric bike witch is crazy but going trough traffic and hoping on and off the curb legaly with no insurance or license required is fun! But I bet Sense you’ve road gas powered scooters you would really like the electric ones depending on the one you get they can go crazy fast just probably won’t hop onto curbs as easy😂and thank you!

Hey thank you! I just got mine used for a pretty good deal on ksl just had some scratches on it. but I think after having it for while I’d probably go with some street tires and some power upgrades for speed in the future when I think I could handle it but been super fun stock! How about you do you plan on any upgrades?
So do you know if you can adjust speed setting to 20mph in eco mode? Maybe on the app? Trying to comply with state laws.. I really want to go with the x260 instead of x160.. I know the x160 is about 20 in eco, just trying to find this info on the x260 before pulling the trigger.. any help would be appreciated
@@vincentbatto8305 aww nice! And no I think in eco mode both the app settings don’t change the top speed or anything, the app settings just works for the sports mode! and the top speeds in spots mode would be lowest-30mph Medium-40mph and the max setting will let you go to 47mph.but depending on where you live as long as your not like driving crazy you might be okay I passed a lot of cops going past the speed limit and they just stare at me lol but would recommend the pedal kit to make it comply with state laws more! Great video it's very good, where did you get this ,I need to buy one for me.I like this. ♥️
Does it matter if you ride it on eco 20 mph or sport 20 mph? Do you get more miles on eco? Or same. I just bought one

The 70+ mile range is at 10mph
That would be the worst to test

Where you buy it and so much this segway x260 cost
in the manual by specs it says full range was measured by going 12.4 mph so try that =P

Is there a certain mode to limits it to 20mph?
Theirs not! In eco mode with all the settings turned down it would be 30mph is the lowest top speed setting you can turn it to
