Whether we like it or not, motorbiking is a life or death activity, and if we're passionate about continuing to do it, we must be extra critical of ourselves. That means being able to see what you can do better even when it's clearly not your fault. Ride safe mate
Agree with much of your premise here. For me it comes down to a basic life philosophy, "dont be a dick." As riders we need to accept the reality and responsibility that we CHOOSE to embark on an activity, a lifestyle, that carries an inherent level of danger and risk. Ither driver will make mistakes. Thats just a reality. Riding 90mph through a residential area is asking to for trouble. Weaving in and out around slower traffic is asking for trouble. One issue i have is lane splitting. Mixed feelings. Here in arizona its a new addition to our laws. Its legal. The problem is very few riders understand the law or how to use the practice safely . Its legal on roads with posted limits of 45mph or below and the rider can only ride 15mph or less. Basically for when traffic is backed up and you need to get through the jam because its 115 degrees and youre sitting a furnace. I have no issue with that. However few riders use the law or procedure that way. I routienly get other riders blasting past me in my lane while im doing 75 on the freeway. Or doing the same while in town. Problem is i am of the idea that my lane is MY lane. Im entitled to use it if needed. Ive had near collissions because i swearved to avoid a pothole, wheel barrow, ladder, bucket, sofa (yes a sofa) and any number of home furnishings, animals and cobstruction materaial, just as some dipstick was passing me in my own lane at twice my speed . Moving through stopped or slowed traffic or filteribg up to the front at a stop light- no problem. Infringing on my turf at 95mph just to go fast - nope. Just my opinion. I could be wrong
Hi brother! I just wanted to wish you happy new year and keep on creating and improving this amazing content. In the previous video you mentioned that you couldn't hit your goal of 5k subs and this was the moment I realized that you actually don't have tens of thousands of subs.. I mean I just subbed some time ago after loving your content and the Rebel 500 and didn't really notice the stage your channel was at. Truly impressive. Keep on the good work and the right time will come for the channel, I am sure.
I'm a biker and 90% of the time its the biker's fault in the videos... It blows my mind that so many people are arrogant enough to post these videos. There's no winning argument to change the persepective. Only action at this point will change it but anger, speeding and carnage will get the clicks.
You spend as much time rolling around your suburb as much as I do, I go the EH Shopping Center every day for a coffee, but end up going home to Dandenong Nth via Frankston lol
i've had a fair few accidents. i always say its my fault. i choose to be out there. the last serious one, somersault over a bonnet... the cops looked confused when i claimed to be at fault... lol. right turn from a no-right turn in front of me... she got towed, fined, and i rode home... with a detour to the local hospital for some xrays and ultrasound just in case...
fully agree my guy, there's a time and place to do risky things lol i love speed, living in the US and all that, but if there's hella cars around....i mean, er, logic? use some logic.
Dunno if you ever head up to qld but ive got a vitpilen which is an interesting bike you might want to have a crack on. Its not fast by any means, but its cool

Make sure you sit on the petrol tank backwards riding full speed everywhere for maximum comfort!

Theres a good reason one is allowed (filtering) and one is frowned upon (splitting)

Theyre nifty little things hey
The moment we chose to get on the bike and ride... that's what made it our fault. (Not really serious, but maybe a little serious.)

Always pays to have a video cam fitted these days
That it do
