The people you see here are the original band members: Redheaded guitarist in the white suit: Rich Williams, Keyboardist/Lead vocals: Steve Walsh, Blond guitarist with the black shirt: Kerry Livgren, Large vocalist with tambourine and huge red hair and beard: Robbie Steinhardt. Robbie also played violin, which can be heard on many of their productions. Steve and Robbie shared lead vocalist duties, Drummer: Phil Ehart.
They are so good.
Legend has it that the recording they put on their album was done in one take. No overdubbing, no double tracking, no splicing, no gimmicks, and certainly no autotune! It's a continuous uninterrupted recording from start to finish.
Wow.. that’s insane 💯👍🏽
@@shockwavereact Sure is!
Love the way the lead guitarist clipped the notes in a riff by laying his finger across the neck. That’s skill.
Called "muting".
The 70's were the best decade for all genres.
I can imagine☺️
I grew up in the 60's and 70's and formed my tastes in music that last until today. I have to totally agree with you.
Great reaction and thanks for sharing. Kansas is an amazing band with two great lead singers. In this song Steve Walsh was the lead singer, but the full bearded red hed Robbie Steinhardt is also an amazing lead singer and together their harmonies are out of this world. Robbie also plays violin. The blond playing guitar is Kerry Livgren and he writes alot of the songs. Other songs by Kansas worth checking out 'Dust in the Wind' Robbie plays violin on this one RIP. 'The Wall' another masterpiece about finding your way in the world. 'Point of Know Return' another rocker. 'Hold On' another rocker. 'Closet Chronicles' and many, many more. Chris
This is absolutely so good, I loved every bit of it, I’ll definitely check out more from them
One of my favorite bands growing up. And one of my favorite all time songs.
It is absolutely beautiful 👍🏽💯
"Dust in the wind"- Kansas. Great show!! Peace. 😎🇺🇸
Okay,I’ll check that out
This was used in tv show supernatural as the song they played over the catch up of the previous season they show at the beginning of the new season.
So now when i hear it i think of supernatural.
Oh wow… this is really beautiful
I think it was also almost always played at the start of the last episode of a season, except in the first season. there, it was played at the start of the second to last episode.
@@chrisjericho9632 I knew someone would remember more precisely than me.ta for showing up.
Tis was a mainstay on my 8 track player in my car!
I really like it
I saw them in concert twice in the 70’s and it was a great show!
Wow…
You are a very beautiful woman.
Wow, thank you 🙏
This song was released in 1976.
Soo gooood
I always get them confused with REO Speedwagon LOL.
Don’t know the band maybe I’ll check them out too 😀
