And it’s useful, because it gives me something to think about on mornings when I’m stressed and getting ready for school. And I’m a writer, so sometimes I use my weird sleep plots/dreams to make a book!
I remember dreams most mornings. I often have really weird ones. I think it's fun. It's kind of like adventures I get to go on every night and when I go to bed I look forward to what adventures I might have.
My dog does the same thing, to the point I eventually have to physically move to get her to stop. I learned that dogs do this because it releases dopamine into their brains and makes them feel happy and relaxed and lowers anxiety.

When I was in elementary school I had a teacher that wouldn't let me go to the bathroom. And I held it until I was in severe pain. SEVERE pain. And it would come out. And she had the nerve to yell at me And now I have problems holding my urine. A doctor told me that over the course of that year, holding it all in everyday caused my bladder to weaken
i had a teacher like that last year and she wouldn't let anyone go so we just started walking out of class and going even if she said we couldn't go and she even said she'd give people detention if they kept doing that but she never did
i had a teacher like that too! My parents always told me "if you have to go just go, ill deal with her." I never realized it could cause lasting effects though, wow! Thats so crazy... I hope this is totally against all regulation now, it should have been then! "why are you in detention" "I had to go pee" ... were they able to medically do anything to help re-strengthen your bladder?
Y'all never went to the bathroom during breaks? I don't think I've witnessed someone asking to use the bathroom during class more than 5 times during my entire school career.

For the question about hands still being/feeling wet after drying them: if you live in a place with high humidity it can make your hands feel wet after drying them because of the moisture that is in the air.
Is it weird that I have major déjà vu-s? Like I’ll see a dream years ago, and the wake up and have no memory of it, and then years later when it’s happening in real life, I’ll suddenly remember that I’ve seen this/been in this situation before. There have been times where I’m in the situation, and I know what’s going to happen next lol. Am I possessed?
I have this all the time but it really started when I was ~14. The first major time I remember was about a week before my first day of high school I had a dream of one of my classes but I didn’t think much of it because well I was new to high school. Then the second semester comes around and it turns out I had a dream about my first day of my favorite class ever.
I've had this happen to me several times throughout my life! Mostly I've used it to not say stupid things out loud, or changing the subject to prevent awkward social situations.
I had two very weird instances referring to that: 1. I dreamt about my future apprenticeship, about the people, the interior etc. before I've seen any of that before 👀 that spooked me a little 2. Once I told my boyfriend about my dream (unfortunately I don't remember it anymore, but it was about a party). Months later we went to a party and the exact same thing happened. So I asked my boyfriend if he remembered that I told him about that dream and he confirmed! That spooked me a lot.
i’ll tell you a story, throughout primary and secondary school teachers never allowed students like myself to use the bathroom. in 2017 the doctors said i had oab (over reactive bladder) it’s pretty common but it means that the bladder doesn’t work like it normally would so i really disagree with not letting kids use the bathroom. it’s a basic human right and like myself i had a real problem with my bladder and not allowing me to use the bathroom enhanced my symptoms
When I was a student I had a French language teacher who used to make me feel really bad for needing to go to the bathroom and wouldn't let me go until I was literally freaking out and in pain. It started a habit where no matter what before every class I would go pee no matter if I really needed to or not. Thanks for the anxiety and compulsion to use the bathroom teacher
And I think it's kinda weird that you have to even publicly announce/ask you need the bathroom. "Hey guys i'm curreny holding ina giant sh*t!". I mean I get why but lol.
An English teacher did that to one of my classmates in 8th grade. He peed in the trash can next to the teacher. It was priceless. She was the type to verbally abuse and throw things at the students.
@@a_bear I mean... no one really says that sentence though do they really. I guess there are bacteria and paracites etc. that get into your body without causing a direkt infection...
@@hedgehogshill3522 I don’t know, my indoor cat sent 2 people to the doctor for infected scratches/bites. You can get some serious infections if the wound is deep enough. I think most people just don’t have a cat who scratches or bites at full force and draws blood.

Question: What happens in your body that makes you feel that stomach dropping, butterfly in stomach feeling? You know, the one that you feel on rollercoasters? Thanks! Love the channel 😊
Well, on roller coasters it's because you are temporily at different g force levels, but I wouldn't know for butterflies (I know that feeling don't worry).
I think that it is but not really because our blood is supposed to stay in our body and if we see blood out of our body it because something wrong is happening and our brain should be on alert. But ye passing out its definitely not the right way to react hahaha
@@イレ-t8x You wouldn't pass out in such a situation. There would be too much adrenaline and you wouldn't even realize your wounds. After getting out of this situation and while really understanding what is wrong with u, you could pass out.
What if because of the danger, our muscles require more blood and while that blood rushes into your body, it's rushing out of your head and making you go unconscious?
I had one nursing home I used to take patients to when I worked as an EMT-Basic for a private ambulance company (3 levels of training and licensing for people who work on ambulances here in America. Basic, Intermediate, and Paramedic.), and the home had two resident golden retrievers. We loved going there and wanted to accidentally on purpose drive away with a dog in the back bc they were so precious. When I got a pretty major surgery on the nerves in my leg, I had two dogs come visit me in my hospital room and it was better than any pain medication I was taking. Since then I have wanted to get a dog that I can train to take into hospitals and visit patients bc I know how much better I felt with some puppy snuggles.😊 This was one of the dogs who came to visit. ua-cam.com/video/h5060GHpDZE/v-deo.html

Once I woke up right after my surgery began (it was a laser one in my face, I was like 10yo and already on the Operation Room) all the doctors looked at me like 'oh fudge' and one of them said to me 'We can't put you back to sleep again it's already too late, can you just hold it?' and so I was awake during that, I stil remember the feeling of it and everything
I remember one time when I had to stay in the children’s hospital oncology ward, to get plasma infusions before surgery, they brought therapy dogs to cheer up kids, and also, the doctor said there is research that shows some people can heal faster when around a beloved animal or pet…and we saw this with my Grandma and her cat while living alone, as we honestly didn’t think she’d necessarily make it as long as she did. Never underestimate the Blessing of God’s loving creatures sharing love trying to help you feel better as they always know when you don’t feel well, or not the same.😊❤
I kinda sympathize though. I wash my hands before making a protein shake in the morning. Even after drying them, my fingers are still a little wet which makes the protein powder stick to them. My kitchen towel is crappy, I think that's why.
I want to add an interesting fact to the explanation Dr.Mike gives about holding it in and kidney disease. Statistically, some jobs that prevent people from using the bathroom, like crane operators for example, have more cases of kidney disease. But it's a small percentage, so I wouldn't really worry about it. Stress and bad health habits are way more likely to give your kidneys problems! By the way, thank you very much Dr.Mike for raising the awareness for kidney disease! #kidneypatient #kidneyrepair

When I was in elementary school I had a teacher that wouldn't let me go to the bathroom. And I held it until I was in severe pain. SEVERE pain. And it would come out.
And she had the nerve to yell at me
And now I have problems holding my urine. A doctor told me that over the course of that year, holding it all in everyday caused my bladder to weaken
I had a teacher like that but at the time I was sick and didn't know I had diabetes type 1 so it was bad
i had a teacher like that last year and she wouldn't let anyone go so we just started walking out of class and going even if she said we couldn't go and she even said she'd give people detention if they kept doing that but she never did
Oml me to! Teachers sometimes are messed up
i had a teacher like that too! My parents always told me "if you have to go just go, ill deal with her." I never realized it could cause lasting effects though, wow! Thats so crazy... I hope this is totally against all regulation now, it should have been then!
"why are you in detention"
"I had to go pee"

Y'all never went to the bathroom during breaks? I don't think I've witnessed someone asking to use the bathroom during class more than 5 times during my entire school career.

No. It happened to me a lot when I was younger
I had two very weird instances referring to that:
1. I dreamt about my future apprenticeship, about the people, the interior etc. before I've seen any of that before 👀 that spooked me a little
2. Once I told my boyfriend about my dream (unfortunately I don't remember it anymore, but it was about a party). Months later we went to a party and the exact same thing happened. So I asked my boyfriend if he remembered that I told him about that dream and he confirmed! That spooked me a lot.
Good to know I’m not the only one who has experienced strange dreams that come true. I thought I was going crazy!
i’ll tell you a story, throughout primary and secondary school teachers never allowed students like myself to use the bathroom. in 2017 the doctors said i had oab (over reactive bladder) it’s pretty common but it means that the bladder doesn’t work like it normally would so i really disagree with not letting kids use the bathroom. it’s a basic human right and like myself i had a real problem with my bladder and not allowing me to use the bathroom enhanced my symptoms
Petition to make it illegal for teachers to not allow students to use the bathroom
As someone who also worked as a teacher, of course people need to ask to go to the bathroom or you would just have kids standing up and walking out randomly, just the answer should never be a point blank no. Maybe you can go once ive finished explaining this one task is a better answer

@@hedgehogshill3522 I don’t know, my indoor cat sent 2 people to the doctor for infected scratches/bites. You can get some serious infections if the wound is deep enough. I think most people just don’t have a cat who scratches or bites at full force and draws blood.

I think that it is but not really because our blood is supposed to stay in our body and if we see blood out of our body it because something wrong is happening and our brain should be on alert. But ye passing out its definitely not the right way to react hahaha
