If you are renting 3 10x40’s that are attached to each other and are planning on renting for a long time, you can ask the storage facility to remove the walls and make your space a 30x40 for one monthly rate.
This will allow you to only pay insurance on one unit (if you have through the site) and also be able to have easier access to the entire space.
I am a Regional Manager with a large storage company and this is something that I’ve done for customers from time to time…… just thought I’d let you know.
Thanks for all of the great content. My wife and I have been following a lot of your processes and we’ve been able to let her quit her job and focus on our eBay business and I’m hoping to join her in the next 2-3 years once our son graduates college.

I'm taking my store on the road next spring. Going to store all my items in a storage unit. When I want to move to another state or area, I'll pack it all up and get a different storage unit in another state/city. I'll be using a PO Box in each location I move to. Basically after I find my central location I'm going to travel out from there to source and adventure. Unless I find I can afford an employee, I'll just ship once a week from that central location. I'll probably move with the weather and/or when I get bored of an area.

Then later on when I have the time with my busy schedule can fine tune it , and when I take a day to photograph I can add more photos directly from my phone when im at work or out and about running errands and what not on my down time , in moments where im bored or dont really have much else to do to utilize my time .... or I will go to the park and sit somewhere in nature and post them and relax ; i break down every process ...

I just leased a room in a converted elementary school. It's a classroom, 800 sq feet, for $665.00 a month. Includes utilities, I just need to pay for internet. The windows go all they way to the ceiling, the light is amazing.
I cannot wait to start moving items out of my house! If I run out of room, I can rent another room or the storage room.

I use my home and it costs $0 per month. If I run out of space I will get one of those nice big pre-built sheds. I like the idea of having a dedicated space away from home to work in but I also hate being away from my inventory. Some nights I might not be able to sleep so I just get up and list for few hours until I get sleepy.

Great video, as always, Chris. Right now, my inventory system is free "loose leaf" clothing, I guess you could say. Not sure if I like it better that way or not, as having it filed away in bags seems to conserve more space. I also like the idea of letting the clothes air out, because I have noticed that even after washing (sometimes multiple washes), some clothes retain a certain perfume or cologne smell if it is very strong.
