Thank you for your wonderful content. You have an abundance to offer on your channel. I love the way that your business is listed but you don't push it in a dramatic way like others do. I really am grateful for your channel!
The sewing is exactly what I do for "Yo-Yos" and this is great. I want to make "large" buttons and this is perfect! :) I sub. plastic or chipboard in the cut and size I want! THank you!
nice button! I've seen buttons with a little U shaped metal wire shank run through the little hole and the ends flattened against the top of the mould and then felt and fabric placed over the top and wondered how they made the button. Well, now the mystery is solved! Thanks for your excellent tutorial.
planning on making these. thank you for the tutorial. should the largest piece of padding be larger than the button for it to fold over the edge? to give it a softer finish?
That honestly depends on what you would like. You can just have a single piece of felt the size of the mould, or play with different combinations. It can be difficult to get a smooth edge when the edge is softer, but with practice it can be done to good effect
Ooh, this has made my life so much easier. Thank you so much, Gina! I'm going to be a little modern and make my button molds with Shrinky Dinks, but that just makes them water resistant. :)
Thank you for the video's. I have been wanting to make buttons for ages, so was really pleased to find your "page", I'm now looking forward to seeing the Yorkshire Button video & ring buttons as I've seen larger ones made into brooches, from the "Make do & mend era of WWII, they were stunning 😍
Thank you so much! What a truly wonderful and useful tutorial! Could you expand and show us more pro tips? I'd also like to learn how make modern buttons for everyday clothing.
Hi! Have you seen my Woven Loop Shank video? ua-cam.com/video/5SHgwhtEoPo/v-deo.html Although on a different style of button, this is a great way to make a simple shank. You can also sew a closed jump ring onto the back. I'll pop some other ideas onto my To Film list! :)
Now i know how to understand to make two differents buttons!TY❤
This is lovely. I think I'm well and truly mesmerized. Love the huge range you can make!
Thank you so much!
