I LOVE WATCHING YOU PLAY THIS GAME!!! I love that you're within YOUR realm of game genre, although slightly out of your "comfort zone". Meaning that even though you said this is not the type of game you're used to, you carry on and keep impressing with your extraordinary puzzle solving capabilities. I must say that I am Personally a fan of Puzzle boxes/rooms and would LOVE that your channel took a turn towards more games like /The Witness/ and /The Room/ PS. You tagged Fallout 4, which is not the game you're playing here (probably a joke you made though, as people joked about "building a room" last episode.), although I downloaded FO4 again today before I even saw this, which I find peculiar and "random" .
Bro, there are two more games in this series, the second one is relatively easy, but the third is hella tricky. I recommend playing through the second game, but only go for the third if you're feeling up to it.
This is my all time favorite puzzle game. Hands down. Can’t wait till you get to the room old sins! Lots of incredibly difficult puzzles that took me many hours to figure out! Hope you have a great day aliensrock!
For anyone else wondering, this whole last area was added long after the games initial release, as epilogue / teaser to The Room Two. That's why it felt slightly disjointed. The original ending was on the weird planetarium table thing. As for the series as a whole, I'm super glad Tyler decided to play it. In my opinion Two is pretty good, Three is okay except it has a horribly convoluted "100%" completion that does not rely on any mechanics or knowledge really that you have would have obtained during the game itself. Honestly I would suggest skipping that. Their fourth game, Old Sins, is a masterpiece. It basically takes everything great about the series and amps it up to 11. sadly, old sins is only on mobile, with no plans of it being ported to desktop like the rest of them were.
Please do play more Room games! The third one is personally my favorite, they’re all great. I love watching you go through puzzles since you always have a different approach than I would which is really interesting and sometimes entertaining
Personally I'm torn between the second and third. 3 was easily the most impressive and interesting, but it suffered from too many puzzles that, even after looking up the solution, just made me think it just couldn't have been figured out though logic. The second one was better in that regard because every single time I had to use a hint or look it up, it left me thinking "Ah, I could have figured that out if I was just a bit more patient!" The multiple endings was cool, having to redo the same puzzle to get them was not, especially when going inside the puzzle with the eyeglass (which was otherwise one of my favourite features of the game) takes _so long_ to activate.
I have literallly no clue how the order matters. I know I just brute forced it by trying combinations and I had no idea if there is any colour based hint anywhere.
A note on the tarot cards in the drawer, the Death card is ripped in half. With the tarot, the death arcana doesn't represent literal death (at least not usually), but instead represents a great change. So it being ripped in half is symbolic of a lack of change, or someone trying to prevent change from happening.
fun fact from a music nerd or a to-be music nerd: B and F form what is called a "tri-tone", its an interval of 2 notes, and it is actually nick-named "the devil in music" and is often used in "devilish" music from the likes of metal bands and so on, however the phrase "the devil in music" originally had nothing to do with its "devilish" sound today, but rather because it was hard to use in any context so it was avoided love ya tyler, your youtube videos are good to watch when doing literally anything, thanks for the content, lets get this puzzle'd bread

I absolutely love this game however I've always felt the ending was really anticlimactic. It is the first game in the series and if the game never did well it could've been the only one which makes the ending even worse. I'd definitely recommend playing the rest of the series. They're all as high quality as this one.
So after this I decided to check your Twitch vods to see if you at least checked out the second game and when you were transitioning to the mayan puzzle room you said that you wish everyone who didn't enjoy you seeing be frustrated with the first game would be able to see you enjoy the game's experience way more with hints, and I just wanted to say I am so glad you at least ended up going that far to play second game with hints and ended up having way more positive opinion of the game(s). It both makes it more enjoyable to watch and I honestly think these games deserve at least some credit because I think they're sincerely cool (the visuals are nice and I like the way the machinery "works") and you seemed to be pretty disinterested before you tried hints in The Room Two. Just wanted to post you a positive comment about this :)
Understand the concept before making a judgement. First. What does fallout have to do with puzzle game? Second. No he didn’t put i there as a joke Third. Learn the topic before writing a dumb comment about it.
If you liked those tile moving puzzles, I suggest you check out a game called “Cogs” it’s an older game in a similar steampunk style. It’s a fun game, though it doesn’t have a story like this one does.
I hope he ends up playing the second and third games in the series. They bring even more creative ideas than the first one and they’re the ones I remember fondly.
i'd just like to note that the two notes the game made you play (b and f) form a tritone aka a yucky interval that has been considered the devil in music fun tidbit of information
Holy, this was a throwback. Maybe I should go play the other 3 games (2, 3, and Old Sins), now that I've beaten A Dark Matter. Will be interesting to see you play each of those at some point, though I don't know if you have a VR headset to play A Dark Matter.
I feel that any puzzle game that makes you go "how did I do that?" "how did this happen?" "...ok?" and with puzzles that can be solved just by randomly fiddling around (most "puzzles" here have a very small search/solution space and can very easily be solved by brute forcing and not by understanding the underlying mechanism) is not really a good puzzle game, some of it is kind of the fault of the media (in a videogame you can just click around untill something works, in real life not so much) but overall I did not enjoy the puzzle aspects of this game. Presentation is fantastic though, looks really good and has an interesting mood to it. Personally though, I much prefer watching you play other kinds of puzzle games.
Dude, I hope you play through the two other games. I played the first one before you even started playing it and I loved it to death, so I hope they're just as good.
This is a classic puzzle game that'll keep you on your toes. Don't forget to make use of everything you can and enjoy spending hours trying to figure out that one thing you missed. :)
if you continue and finish the other two games, might I recommend playing the Submachine series afterward? They can all be found here: www.mateuszskutnik.com/submachine/
So, this was a different type of puzzle game than what this channel's used to. What'd you think?
I think I like it
I like it. Sorta mysterious, very cool
I enjoy your commentary on about anything. Reminds me of a couple guys in the navy.

cool
Tyler : These puzzles are gonna be way too hard for me to do
The puzzles : *_You overestimate my power_*
It depends, are we talking Twitch Tyler or YT Tyler?
Don’t worry, the rest of the series gets harder :)
@@ultradude5410 not really.
Puzzles, cryptic? Isn't that kinda the point?

Old sins is mobile only I think. And the vr one. Tyler obviously has to do them all or no balls

he's already playing the second game. all of these room videos are 1 stream, and that stream was half room half room two
