This is hands down the best keyboard review/demo I have ever seen. The production values are amazing - sound and visual quality are better than most commercial videos. And your approach - what to show, and how you explain features - is so simple and straightforward.
Thank you SO much for your content and efforts.

I had a Fujiyama, 37 keys as well and I wished at that age of playing a PSR. Meanwhile I grew up and I got professional gear, but I think you still found a way to make this little instrument so desirable. Cheers.

After watching several videos about keyboards , I decided to spend up to $100 and get one . The PSS-A50 was my choice . There were several larger keyboards in the $50 -$75 range , but I wanted a more compact keyboard . I do not play any musical instrument , so I'm not familiar with keyboards . This video really helped me getting started learning the functions of this new "toy" . There are lots of functions packed into a very compact keyboard . More functions with very few buttons makes this a challenge at first . Videos like this eases that challenge . Thanks for such an informative video .
I've only had this pss-a50 a few days and love it already . Glad I chose this fine Yamaha keyboard .

Yeah, a revitalised Casio SA1 with multilayer loop function...

Probably a casio CZ synth is what you're looking for since most of those sounds on the SA series were CZ samples.
Btw they're not really easy to find in great conditions at the right price (at least in Europe)

It is incredible all the great things that include Yamaha keyboards now, I have my old and beloved Yamaha psr-600 and the most top thing I brought when I bought it was a floppy drive xDDDD

Mein Gott! $99 for the A50? That's a ton of functionality and very good sounds for that price. Sounds like a wonderful starter board for youngsters/beginners. 100X better than what I started with: a used Casio MT-500 & a new Casio SK-1 ...both which I kept for nostalgia's sake 35years + later :P

That pitch bend stuff is beautiful! However, I think Yamaha needs to create new sounds for their beginner keyboards as they have been using the same dated XG sounds for almost 20 years.

Definitely! I was a bit surprised when i saw that they used this old sound chip, but since this is my only Yamaha keyboard that's younger than 20 years, I am OK with that.

I would think that Yamaha would have been roasted for not investing in any new sounds.

Or inherit voices from previous Tyros keyboards not those very old ancient low quality voices.
