@@josho1989 I make a hell of a lot more than that per hr. No shade on these boys, it's not entirely about direct profits which clearly are not great. It's like fishing--a nature experience and so on.
So glad you named that nugget Marge, that's what we saw. I'll bet anything the Moon Nugget came from a boil hole. Never pass on a boil hole, they hoard gold! Good stuff here, great photography and all the trimmings, well done!
Well boys it's like boys own adventure club, trekking beautifull country, exploring, local wild life, and you find treasure, fantastic we enjoyed every moment of it,thanks again for taking us along, all the best the old lenahvalley boys✌️❤
Watching all of your videos I always wondered why you don't use a metal detector sometimes and here we are. Love it. In non mineralized ground like that you would be better of using something like a minelab manticore. Great discrimination and sensitivity, Its also water proof to 20 feet or something like that
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us all. A little gold is better than no gold. But just the experience and wonderful tassie Wilderness is amazing💛
I always treat those crayfish with respect. I truly believe they are the gold keepers. Enjoyed the adventure and the scenic terrain Levi. Stay safe out there brother 👊💪🇦🇺⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️
Wow, you learn something every day, I had never heard that about the crayfish being the keeper of gold. Thanks, I appreciate it. Knowledge gained is surely sweet. ❤👍🏻
At the boil hole, girlfriend said, "He's got TGOCD". Tassie Gold Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Marge would say the same thing ! Here on the coast of northern New England. Old fishermen call those shelled creatures "Bugs".
Just love my sunday morning Tassie Boys video drops!!! The .25 picker looks like Marge Simpson 😂. I promise if i ever come into some money im coming to Tasmania on a gold prospecting adventure!!! 💛 🇬🇧
You know all trips can't be super productive. It's trips like this that shows everyone that there really is hard work involved in looking for the candy. Thanks for sharing your adventures Levi!!
Hello from Oregon USA! I've been following for nearly a year and LOVE your channel. I've learned so much from yours and Rob's content. Whether it's technique and research while prospecting, or appreciation and respect for the wilderness, I admire yoir values. If you and Rob ever want to come stateside for an Oregon prospecting adventure, I'd be honored to share with you our rich mining history and geology. All the best, -Tristan P.s. What song did you use in this intro? It's great 👍
heen watching for a few years now. absolute thearpy for me to see your videos buddy. absolutely stunning terain out there and great determination from a tassie native. lots of love from belfast northern ireland. ❤
An exciting exploration of the beautiful feeder creek systems, Levi and Ron, cheers to you both. Awesome claw, craw, crayfish, we've similar here in Victoria that also grow to a great age and size. The filming of the great cormorant, all-black, rather than the little cormorant that has the white stripe down the neck, at the bottom of the waterfall, must be feeding on some good fish tucker, if there's a way to remotely film their fishing would be credit-worthy film footage, as your nature-documenting is ever so part of the delight of the discoveries, or at least the search, for gold and histories. It did occur to me, on your great use of the Gold Monster, finding the signal in a deep but small boil hole, that a mini bait pump would be a handy tool, or a tiny ladle, to scoop out the bottom, but using the bigger diametered tube of your snuffer bottle worked out well. That detector has it's merits, but I ask if you've considered the waterproof and collapsible Minelab SDC 2300, that it would be ideal for your activities, as it is able to be used fully submersed underwater? You have the vision for finding the big ones, and the SDC is quite expensive, and needs a waterproof headphone, but those deep river and creek waterfalls, canyons, and boulder-strewn pools, you'd like to access these with your mini SCUBA floating air pump systems and SDC detector, well, I'd be there for you at the banks beside the water, as you hand us the pieces that won't fit into the snuffer bottle! Cheers again, and best wishes to you, your mates and families, solid citizens, but all your gold found is Australian Commonwealth gold, subject equally to all Australian citizens, and non-citizens with the appropriate licence, and under our Commonwealth laws, there has been no Tasmanian monarch since 1901, only a representative Governor, so doesn't "own" any gold found in Tasmania, full stop! It was George III in 1834 allowing private ownership of gold, the reason for minting half and full sovereign gold coins in large number, so the populations everywhere had better means of exchange, even leading to mints needing opening in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. It's the turn of a Tasmanian city to have the need for an assay office and production mint, but clarification of the law seems to have to happen from Canberra, as no impetus exists in your state, unless a small band volunteer a temporary removable stockade to protest the inequality of the ordinary person compared to the corporate sectors, and inequality in comparison to the other states and territories. One Commonwealth, and full equality before the law must be demanded to be legislated and promulgated. Best wishes!
Hi Levi As always another quality video absolutely spectacular scenery and don’t worry nearly a gram of gold is not to be sneezed at I’ve been watching your videos for sometime now couple of years and you’ve inspired me. I’ve. got myself a decent four-wheel-drive these days and I’m off to the Victorian high countries over the summer. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
As usual Levi, superb camera work. Thanks again for showing us your Tessie tour . ( that was definitely Marge Simpson on the gold picker ). Cheers from The Algarve. 🎉
I was hiking in some temperate montane forest about 60km away from where I live in South Africa, and it reminded me so much of this scenery. Great content as always.
That is a very intriguing area, I would spend a lot more time detecting there. 👍 Mr. Mega pinchers was a nice bonus, I enjoyed that thanks! 11:45 was epic btw.
G'day Levi & Ron not such a huge gold discovery day for you but at least you now know there is still some gold in the area. I think that is the cleanest gold I've seen you get for a while.
Not a record breaker but some very cool buttery yellow gold with cool shapes the quarter gram reminded me of the tip of Florida here in the USA great adventure thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
Yes, the largest species of freshwater crayfish, and at least 2× the size of my record Missouri stream catch! No photos, as I was 10 yrs old, exploring the creek! Gma, got a photo, but long gone with a few other moments in time! 7.5 in, and almost 0.5 lb!
Finally something worth watching! You’re a legend, Levi!🎉🙂
Everything comes to those who work as hard as The Tassie Boys 💜💜
0.91 grams comes to them? That sucks. lol

Really like the combo of sniping and detectors. The gold in the creeks had to come from somewhere above. Hope you find a mother load.
It’s never uninteresting! Knowledge can be a hard fight. There has to be a brick of gold awaiting the Tassie Boys!
Hear, hear❣♥️✝️🙏☝🏻I second that motion from East Tennessee, USA 💯💰💛
Lovely bits mate, good ta see the detectors out for a run, ooh a quad around here would be very handy hmm.
I really admire how hard you work chasing that gold, well done Levi.

Always look forward to your videos ❤
Another great journey boys and loved seeing that freshwater cray bought back some memories 😊
Hi Levi, Thanks again for another great video. A quick note: I’ve actually seen Astacopsis gouldii at Dove Lake (934m asl)
Yes it’s funny you say that actually because I’ve seen some smaller ones in creeks way above 400
@ I’ve got a photo of it. I’ll DM you the photo via Facebook if I can.

thanks mate i enjoy your videos immensely, what a beautiful place we live, tread lightly cheers
Good on you for not messing with the crayfish but I wonder if that cormarant knows to leave them alone.
Cormarants don't pay taxes or follow stupid government laws. 😅
To be with you and Ron in the beautiful tasmanian forest is so fun. Gold, tincan or ledshot? Thanks for taking me along! ❤️❤️

It is crazy to think that even now and where they are, they’re still finding some forms of litter. Humans do leave their footprint for sure.
Wow that was a deep little hole glad something worthwhile came out of it!
Thanks for sharing guys greetings from The Netherlands
Looks like a tough place to snipe! Lowish water flow, logs, long stretches of overburden, smooth bedrock, waterfalls.... you guys did good!

Cheers for the support, gotta do what we can to respect the environment.
